Ned brings back to life Colonel Likken, who was mysteriously deep fried to death. His world-famous original recipe has gone missing and Likken asks Ned, Emerson, and Chuck to find the person who stole it.

I saw it last night on AChannel in Canada, it was excellent.

The continuing storyline from the past few weeks took up much of the episode and kept moving forward excellently...some good twists and fakeouts and more great character development. The mystery of the week wasn't as strong but didn't get in the way.

Great performances from the whole cast, as always, though if I recall Emerson only had a couple of scenes. But we got to hear Kristin Chenoweth sing again, which I have been waiting all season for.

I saw it on A Channel as well, and also threw in an Excellent vote. They really aren't making me feel any better about the cancellation of the show. The more I'm drawn into the plot, the more let down I'll be when there's no plot left.

Speaking of good canceled shows, Wonderfalls fans will be happy to know you're getting a bit of a crossover this week.

Great performances from the whole cast, as always, though if I recall Emerson only had a couple of scenes.

At least they were good ones. I particularly enjoyed Emerson's reaction to the thing I'm not going to spoil for our American friends.

But we got to hear Kristin Chenoweth sing again, which I have been waiting all season for.

Yeah, that was nice.

Wow. We have intrigue. We have lies. We have a Ned and Olive solving a mystery together. We have funny. We have chicken. We have Kristen singing. We have the uber-fabulous Beth Grant. Put all of that together and you have an excellent hour of tele. This episode had me from go and didn't let up. My one and only complaint is the fact that there was very little of Emerson.

I must say, this show would be complete and total gold if they would let Kristen sing more often. I don't understand why we don't get hear her fantastic pipes in every episode.

And I am now sitting here fighting back tears. My favorite show is finally hitting its stride and the axe is set to fall. Life is such a bitch sometimes. To make matters worse, I have developed a HUGE crush on Lee Pace. Every time he smiles I loose a little more of my soul. *sniff*

I liked Ned/Olive winning a bakeoff and solving a mystery better than trading Stephen Root for a guy who hasn't noticed that he looks like a three month old potato.

Wait---maybe Chuck and Papa Potatohead are the way they are because Ned can't quite bring back all the brains?

But---Waffle Nazi? Buffalo Muffin? Sparkle Motion? Kristin Chenoweth singing? This stuff is wonderful!

Didn't Ned pelvic thrusting Olive look natural? Is the ultimate (sadly never to be seen) conclusion that Ned's true love is Emerson? Wouldn't you have to be totally gay to overlook Olive? He hardly knows she's alive.

This is the episode with the Wonderfalls crossover. I'm looking forward to watching this one (just got home from work).

Olive and Ned solving a mystery. Chuck and Emerson burying corpses. The Aunts. Everything at the food contest. Olive singing. So much goodness. Gonna miss this.

Best episode yet and hilarious throughout. Sorry to see Jimmy James bie the dust. Next times looks equally hilarious

Any chance SCI FI could buy this series?

Forgot to mention, I also really liked the parallelism with Emerson showing some understanding/sympathy to Chuck bringing back her father because of his own desire to have his daughter back in his life, even though that's a thread that hasn't been mentioned for several episodes. I wonder if it'll be addressed at all in the 5 episodes left...

I don't think SciFi could afford to make this show. Even though according to 'Net rumors this morning Bryan is about to sign a deal with NBC Universal. That'll just send him back to Heroes. Not more Daisies.

I actually think I liked Kristin's version of "Eternal Flame" better than the original.

One thing is missing, I thought Emerson and Simone started dating. So where is she?

Does anyone think we'll see Emerson's daughter before the series finale?

alas...it seems whenever my Wife & I truly love a great series...the axe falls? I am surprised Eureka is still going strong? Pushing Daisy's is one of the funniest...imaginative...fast paced...well acted & directed programs to come along in quite a while.

I do not watch any reality shows...have my own life thank you very much...and other than The Closer...BSG...Eureka...& TrueBlood...Pushing Daisy's is one of the few shows we watch.

Really sad to see it go!
