I want the purple grape back - being in black and white makes it look like an old photo and rather sad.

He'll be back in a couple of days. This one looks more old movie-ish than sad to me; although I suppose old movies do have a bit of melancholy about them.

But that might just be because I have a black and white elephant avatar on Livejournal that I only use for reporting deaths.

Heh, my avatar is actually from a black and white movie, but it wasn't truly black and white. I think I'll take the sombrero off for the meantime as well.

You really don't remember? Goji and I were posting back and forth in some thread and both had grayscale avatars and commented on the lack of color. He had the weird kids avatar, and mine was leftover from Halloween:

I just jumped on the wagon at some point (I had just found myself a unique, for TBBS at least, AV-theme) when I discovered this grand idea.
