I am with you.Besides, they will be their own undoing. We just need to be patient.
By the students protesting violently they are looking like the ones on the side of wrong. Just like those attacking the Mormon churches now who can't accept, peacefully, the vote on prop 8. People are going to sympathize, if not side, with those they see as the 'victims.'
I agree about the violence. For example... and I am only using this as an example here to prove Gertch's point people so let's not drag this thread off topic... I am not accepting anything in relation with Prop 8 but I am not looking to exact any sort of revenge either. I will just cut the Morman's off financially and leave it at that. Threatening their churches with vandalism is ridiculous because it would ultimately turn them into the sympathetic side of this arguement. And hurting someone's pocketbook works much better in this day and age. Basically you won't see me staying or recommending a Marriott anytime soon and you won't find me breaking out their windows or spray painting slurs on their doors.
Basically, I am using temperance and peaceful means to get my point across which will work just as well with Westboro too. It works for any number of things. It won't get you in the news but it still makes a strong clear statement.
(I also think it is a very nice point that, even though Gertch and I are sitting on two seperate sides of an issue, we both agree on how to prove ourselves... like gentlemen. I wish more people felt the same way.)
