Jericho Returns!

In repeat form!

Yes I'm bad, got all your hopes up for nothing. :p

It seems that weird The CW Sunday night deal is dead and The CW will be airing Jericho at 7pm. I know all of you will go "That means The CW wants new episodes!", no it means they have nothing at all and will show reruns of dead shows instead. :)

The CW is actually reviving repeats of Jericho as part of a revamped Sunday night lineup that also includes encores of Everybody Hates Chris, The Drew Carey Show and movies from MGM's contemporary library. The new schedule, which takes effect Nov. 30, shakes down as follows:
5 p.m.: Everybody Hates Chris
5:30 p.m.: The Game
6: p.m.: The Drew Carey Show [YAY!]
6:30 p.m.: The Drew Carey Show
[YAY!]
7-8 p.m.: Jericho
8-10 p.m.: Movie
As you probably figured out, this means Valentine, Easy Money, and all those other Media Rights Capital shows have been officially axed. They'll have their final airings this Sunday.

Pity CW cannot afford Jericho because it would easily become there highest rated show though they would prob make crappy by having it appeal to just women viewers.

^ I predict if they made first run episodes of Jericho half of the cast would be replaced by male models who forgot to wear shirts.

the ratings cant be any worse than what currently airs. I cant wait to see what theCW has to say about Sunday at the 2009-2010 Fall Upfronts

nx1701g you are not wrong about that, Oliver Queen had his top off for pretty much the entire episode of Toxic earlier this season.

^ They've already contracted Sunday nights out for syndication from what I remember reading at the beginning of this season.

^ I'm not sure. I remember reading it at the beginning of the 2008 - 2009 season that they were't directly running their Sunday night lineup, but that may have changed.

hence why im wondering what they decide to do next fall, not in the new year.

I think they should just import some British shows and air those instead something like, Casualty, My Family & the BBC's The 3 Musketeers series currently in development.

I think that changed with the fact that all of Sunday Night lineup has been canned and replaced with reruns of old shows.

However instead of Jericho they really should show that Seeker show. That got higher ratings than every other CW show besides Smallville.

It could be worse. Imagine, if you will, Jericho Season 3 a la Jeph Loeb's Ultimates 3, with Stanley Richmond as Hawkeye. I'm vomiting in my mouth just thinking about it.

I'd love to have the show back -- especially with the tight writing of Season 2 and an intact cast -- but I'm not holding my breath. I needed to be rushed to the emergency room when I did that for Carnivale.

And MillenniuM.

And Titus.

And Farscape.

And Deadwood.

I've learned my lesson.
