You know...where you're given a character and you're supposed to dress up and act like that character.
It wasn't my idea...somebody signed me up and then told me about it.
The cool part is it's at the Memphis Zoo So we'll be going behind the scenes, after hours there...I'm guessing it's going to be mostly with the Amphibians.
Anyway, here's my character...
So I'm thinking I'll be bringing some tongue depressers and medical tape for making splints, a first aid kit, and a stuffed froggie doll. Additionally, I'll need to study up on the camoflage properties of big cat coats.
Has anybody else done this before? Got any advice?

Name: Jamie Champion
Occupation: Wildlife Rehabilitator
Facility Name: Animal Haven
Background:
You are a former paramedic who found that you much more enjoyed
rescuing cats stuck in trees than helping injured bellyachers. You opened your own
rehab facility deep in the woods of Missouri. You are always prepared for any
medical emergency whether it is animal or human. You have come to the
symposium hoping to learn about frog anatomy and expand your medical
knowledge of amphibian CPR. You have even created a first-aid frog dummy, on
which you constantly practice your CPR and rescue breathing skills.
Specialties:
You specialize in wildlife reintroduction and feel that all animals belong in
the wild. You are a master splinter and have been known to splint a broken wing in
less than 30 seconds.
Hobbies:
Anatomy is your hobby. You love to talk about physical adaptations of
animals. Some of your favorite adaptations to discuss are the camouflaging pelts
of leopards and tigers and the spiny quills of porcupines. You are a volunteer
firefighter, a member of the Red Cross, and president of the Federal Wildlife
Rehabbers interest group. You are constantly trying to recruit new members and
talk to people about the group endlessly.
Interesting Quirks:
As a former scout, you are committed to being prepared. You always carry a
small first aid kit in case of emergencies.
