From TV.com:

The team attempts to take down a money laundering operation in Las Vegas. Billy comes along on this mission and finds himself sidelined in his own operation. Dr. Graiman has his own problems when an ex lover comes to headquarters to assess how environmentally friendly the operation is.

I thought... What, no Montecito? Then I figured that they took down the sets.

I liked this episode. Billy's part was better than Mike's. "KITT? Atta*ack mode!" You could hear his excitement.

^ If you looked closely though when they showed the Casino Floor several of the slot machines clearly show Montecito.

Amazing that they premiered the 2010 Mustang tonight. I wasn't expecting it.

^ Really? I wonder if it was a nod or if they were too lazy to cover them up. Or maybe they thought no one would notice. Like me. :o

Something else... They used that old chiché where someone shines a light at the guy with the night goggles, forcing him to rip 'em off in pain. From what I understand, that wouldn't really happen, yet they laid it on even thicker by having him scream... "MY EYES!!!" :rommie:

FINALLY KITT smashes through something! About darn time! :D

This was a huge improvement over last week. Some real tension and some "Ocean's 11-lite" fun. Babe-age everywhere too. A fun episode for sure.

Something occured to me. Maybe KITT isn't outfitted with everything. Maybe they just outfit him with various tools and gadgets that he might need for that specific mission. I thought this when I saw the fingerprint machine that popped out on the passenger side. This would explain how he seems to have something for every occasion.

Or it could just be a modification of the first aid kit from the first episode of the season.

Kind of like how during the second season, April would give KITT a new gadget each week. This gadget would end up being vitally important to their mission, but be totally forgotten in future episodes.

I gave this episode an "average." The Vegas stuff was great, the caper was a lot of fun, and I loved Billy's storyline. But the SCC undergoing an "eco-audit" and Dr. Graiman and his old flame debating the pros and cons of paper vs. plastic — conveniently during NBC's "Green is Universal" week — just ugh. It wasn't awful on the same level as Tasha Yar's lecture to Wesley about how drugs are bad, or as ridiculous as Nancy Reagan on Diff'rent Strokes, but it was hamfisted enough to make me drop my vote down a notch. :(

In lieu of next week's preview, they announced that Knight Rider will return "after the holidays." Does anyone know if this just means after Thanksgiving, or are we now on hiatus and/or reruns until January?

The dark-haired Gemini caught my eye. According to her bio, the actress is a weapons trained, martial arts-trained stunt woman from Transylvania. Impressive.
Same here. It makes sense now. Something about the way she was standing and even holding the weapons made her look like more than the typical "babe holding a prop gun" that you see now and then. And she's been on Dexter! Whee! :)

...and I loved Billy's storyline.
You know what was great? That it didn't turn into the typical "Nerd gets scammed because he's desperate for a date." type situation. It wa a genuine chance for Billy to be a hero. His excitement in telling KITT to go to Attack Mode was genuine, but the integrity of his less-than-experienced ways was maintained. I also enjoyed Zoe being his cheerleader and helping him. I really hope we see more of their interaction like this down the road.

I've never seen that with night goggles in movies, but I know in real life (at least back in 1990), looking at the moon was akin to looking at the sun. Perhaps the newer models auto-adjust the brightness, but there was a time when they didn't.

Eh, it was corny when Mike said "KITT, Xenon's!"

I like that KITT finally crashed through a wall, about time, we need more of that.

^ I predict, if it gets a second season, KITT will have severe structural damage and become a 2010.

I have to admit, last night's episode was painful to watch. Now I'm a big fan of this new show with it unashamed boobs and car crash formula. But last night, the acting, sets and dialogue were pathetic. I swear the bad guy hangout scenes looked more like a cut scene from a video game! Nice boobage (especially in slo-motion-by-the-pool-action) but it was tough to make it through the end. I agree with nx1701g's opinion, this prime time Ford commerical will chnage the look of KITT soon.
The "after the holiday's" return announcement was a bit ominous. Not after thanksgiving, but some "holidays." I guess this is the break to retool the show again.

Am really loving this show, it's silly and fun (my new LAS VEGAS). I hope the re tool works in January because KR needs at least 1.5 million more viewers and 3/4's increase of a full demo point t0 even be considered for a 2nd season. The re-tool should get off to a good start beause its on a sunday coming out of NFL football.

Provided Ford is still around. The 2010 Mustang site is also available (came online at the exact scene where the 2010 was seen in KITTs diagnostic cylinder).

Or they use the 2010 KITT 3.0 as something for KARR. A red KITT? blasphemy! ;)

That would be interesting to upgrade to the Red mustang. It reminds me of when Viper in season 4 upgraded to the blue Viper

I will bet that the new upgraded red mustang they showed at the end will end up being KARR! I can see it now, bad guys get a hold of it and download KARR program into it. It is a predictable setup if they do it.
