My rotund portlyness will stay hidden from view. It's the least I can do. Thank you, thank you. I do this for you all.

:D

You're a gentleman and a scholar. Me? I'm just kind of cute. :D

It's a good idea, but it would be locked immediatly.

True that! -What was once allowed isn't necessarily still allowed on this board.

There is the genuine fear of an appearance of the dreaded side boob. :shifty:

Apparently, the prostate cancer group does a thing where men grow mustaches in order to raise awareness (called Movember), and my college and specifically, my dorms decided to do something with this. Well, to be the nice, supportive RA, I clipped my goatee off for the first time in almost a year and a half.

Feels strange to feel air on my chin again... I think that as soon as this month is over, I'm getting my goat back!

Hugo - considers posting a pic of himself in uniform... and then remembers the Department of Professional Standards is everywhere!!!

Mate, you've posted a pic of yourself and your avatar is your cap badge  . Just remember to blur the ole' collar number ;)

Re: Cultcross

Haha... I know...

Our department of the DPS doesn't mind you posting pics of yourself or stating you're part of the Job, but goes a touch off-the-deep-end when you start posting pictures of yourself in uniform. In fact a Superintendant is currently being investigated for posting a picture of himself in full uniform (tunic) on a dating website

We get a lecture approximately once every 10 weeks from the DPS about Codes of Conduct/Professional Standards etc, and a good portion of it ALWAYS goes to what they call "FACEBOOK ABUSE". Most of it born out of the daftness of the "I've been involved in a PolCol" etc Groups. So, we all take care not to post pics of ourselves in uniform anywhere.

I know. Daft. But I have a transfer application in the works and I want nothing to postpone it.

Hugo - playing the game, no matter how dull it is

Then post one without a uniform. ;)

:guffaw: best reply ever.

Hugo: Our PSD's a bit less draconian, they basically just said 'on your head be it' and to bear in mind that every ticket you hand out has your name on it when posting stuff online. My facebook therefore has a fresh cop-free scent ;)
