Just found the art listing and thought you might like to see these designs...
My Enterprise designs in hope of what may have been for 1701-A. Designed after the tragic unveiling of E-D. My design, a cross between movie Enterprise 1701 and sister ship Excelsior. Eventually I sent them off to John Eaves (Enterprise-E designer). We eventually chatted over the phone and he liked what I came up with. Very cool to speak to one of Trek's Enterprise designers too. Anyway, enjoy!......

Better than any other Enterprise, be it a bloody A, B, C, D, or E! I still like the first NCC-1701 better, though.

Your design reminds me a little of Solaris Designs/Mike Alexander's "proposed" NX-1701-A "Enterprise that never was".

Keep up the good work. I especially like the nacelles and neck.

i really like this design! it has the same feeling of 'speed' that the E-E's design had IMO but obviously keeping much closer to the design aesthetic of TMP era.

It is a very nice design. It kind of reminds me of the old blueprint of the Enterprise-C Alaska Class Battlecruiser

Well, I was going to be lazy and suggest that you post some that goodness over at http://www.starshipmodeler.net and see what some of those pros (and they do have pro kit makers over there) can do with it but npw, I want to take a crack at it!
