Marvel announces Thor Animated Series

According to the trade, Marvel Animation is developing and self-producing 26 half hour episodes which will follow Thor’s adventures on Asgard and beyond. Supporting cast will include Balder the Brave, the Warriors Three and Loki.

Instead of doing Hulk they'll be doing a Thor series now. I wonder how they will do a weekly show about a god and make it interesting?

I'm still bummed they are doing a teen Iron Man series instead of a regular adult Iron Man series though. Tony should be able to drink alcohol dammit!

I wouldn't claim that all thirty years were that interesting and Thor was dead for nearly four years (our time) until his recent resurrection under JMS of Babylon 5 fame.

wait? Thor's been around since 62ish. that's 46 years.

So, 30 years of interestingness is probably about right.

Garth Ennis' Thor Vikings was fantastic.

Simonson's Thor Frog was outstanding.

But If he's not on earth then there's no collapsing love trapezoid between the Thor/Don Blake Hybrid and the Jane Foster/Sif...
