Really the Kelvin? (Intel Website)

The first image seems to lack the three hatches on either side where the point defense cannons are retracted. Hmm....

Hey, maybe the ship does not appear symetrical because the saucer section is able to rotate somehow.

That's sort of what I was considering. The whole rotating parts of the ship thing seems very blurry at the moment.

I'm loving these shots though. The red nacelle pic is my desktop background now.

Yes, it permits the bridge to rotate 36 degrees to allow proper operation of the turbolift.

May Allah grant you two extra virgins on the day you depart this mortal world.

And may Satan make them despicably ugly and twice as horny.

Didn't they eventually come out with five different generations of Intel Pentium processors?

Re: Really the Kelvin?

I like this. A lot. :D

Didn't like the first shots of the kelvan at all, but i'm down with it now.

The thing is, I quite like the first shot of the Enterprise - if she looks as good in her in an action shot I may very well soil myself.

Re: Really the Kelvin?

Both shots say "IN THEATERS SUMMER 2009". Summer does not begin until late June. Now, sure, the movie will still be in theaters when summer comes around, but it's being released in spring.

Generally these are rather "loose terms." I think May kicks off what is considered the "Summer Blockbuster" season at the Box Office.

Another example, the "Fall Season" on TV can actually start in August (or at least used to.)

"Summer Vacation" starts in May, etc.

That ship really is fugly. Sorry, in all my bitching about the nacelle and the registry, I seemed to have ignored how downright fugly it is.
