YES.
First time I saw it in the other thread, I was thinking "WTF?!" Then it quickly grew on me once I realized even TOS's Big E had some unflattering views as well.
It is the Big E on steroids or with a big fat hemi under the hood or worked out all summer. Big E is kickin' ass and takin' names!

Based only on what we've got, I think it would be more aesthetically pleasing if the neck were positioned further forward. Aside from that, I think it's a satisfying update.

I think it'll look fantastic in motion.

I like it. It's sturdy and fit and well, tough looking. Federation Battle Cruiser!

Nope.

It may grow on me, but right now, it blows.

Quoted for truth.

I cant seem to adjust to liking it. And when Hallark makes it into an ornament, I wont be putting it on my tree.

BTW,...so happy Hallmark finally made the Reliant.

I voted yes, but as Captain Picard said as he pleaded guilty that humanity was a dangerous, savage child race in Encounter at Farpoint, "provisionally." I'd like to see it in action before I render a complete view. It does have design elements of all the Enterprises we've ever seen. -- RR

Pretty much what you said.

M first reaction was that, yeah, this totally botched the classic design, but after the 0.68 seconds my inner fanboi had its say, I realized that, if I'd never seen the original Enterprise for comparison, this ship would have me creaming my pants from the sheer beauty.

Which, if Abrams is trying to reel in the non-Trek audience, is the whole point.

Meh. It isn't repellent, but it doesn't particularly appeal either. I'd like to see some more angles, mostly to better evaluate the angle, size, and positioning of the nacelles relative to the other sections of the ship. Honestly I was expecting a more radical departure from the existing design.

I was looking it over, and I was noting the larger-than-seems-necessary nacelle hoods, and the sweep of the struts, and the tapered secondary hull, and how they'd been added to what looks like a "stock" saucer, and it hit me: it looks like a lowrider. A lowrider Enterprise. I can get behind that. I like that very much. It doesn't need a sombrero, it's already a lowrider!

Yes or No doesn't cover it.

I want to see it moving, my first reaction was just that plain looks wrong.

I hate the fins that hold up the nacelles and I don't like the short secondary hull.

The proportions look wrong, but it may be that shot doesn't show her in the best light.

I am reserving judgement.
