Potential superhero shows for CW since Grayson's dropped?

actually I understand why she wants rid of Smallville, it is an old show, and really unless they are allowed to use Superman, should not have gone this long anyways.

As for Supernatural, do young women not like watching shows featuring hot guys anymore?

Sure they do, but a lot of young girls also like Grey's Anatomy and the Office (both huge in the female demo) and both air in the same timeslot. The online fandom for SPN is primarily female, but it scores higher in the male Nielson demo because it's a show for guys (and cooler chicks) who want to see gore and who want to see guys act like guys on television, not how teenaged girls want guys to act. Sam and Dean rarely take off their shirts; they don't have romances--only the occasional one night stand, and instead caring and sharing with his little brother when the demon who possessed Sam (and murdered an innocent man while she was doing so) was exorcised from his body, Dean punched Sam in the face when Sam asked a dumb question. :guffaw: The teenybopper girls were outraged but the guys and the cool chicks loved it. Dawn Ostroff can't understand why that's funny. She understands cat fights and high school girls giving bjs in the school parking lot. If she can't put it on a billboard under the caption OMFG, she doesn't care.

Showing you care after your brother's been possesed

I see what you mean, its the male characters in shows like Greys that really annoy me, and why I dont watch those shows.

Izzy Killed their Dad.

He was on Greys last week as a ghost.

He got to be reverred as sexy because he was stand up and dependable... The metaphor about having a broken/no heart was a touch blunt. It's horrid when bland people try to be clever.

Oh, I wasn't referring to the spoilers. I was referring to your always comparing the merits of Supernatural to those of other shows, and trashing the other shows in turn. I love SPN, but it's not the be-all, end-all of television.

It's okay. I'd be as enthusiastic about Mad Men and Dexter if they had serious shows competing against them in their timeslots. They don't since they're cable. It's always been my habit to "recruit" for shows that I like very much, like Big Love. It's been off the air for a year due to the writers' strike.

^This is the crazy person who canceled one of her network's most popular show for that very reason.

Yeah, let me take a second to shed a tear over that loss. OH well, second is up! I feel great, too!

Doesn't matter whether you like it or not, it was a dumb decision.

Smallville take note.

Strategically for the network it was an idiot decision. Now they have the comedies on Friday and they're dying numbers and demo wise. She was never going to get anything that did better than wrestling on Friday nights.
