Please excuse me if this needs to be in a different section of the forum...but I'm curious to know about something.

Why is it that most all of the art around here seems to be ship renders, and nothing focused on the characters (or non-canon characters)?

Have we got anybody else here who likes to draw people? If so--I'd love to see some more from you guys!

Its waaaay easier than drawing people. I've never actually taken any kind of art class, so I have no clue how to do people.

I'd love to draw people, but I can't figure out where to put the phaser strips or bridge module, and the warp pylons really don't jibe well with human(oid) anatomy. But I'll keep trying!

I draw people and ships, but judging by my success rate in the monthly contests people here generally don't like mine as much as others'. (heavy sigh)

Oh my!!

Drawing characters is something I find difficult, but I do give it a try on occasion. I've got a few pieces I've done in relation to the monthly challenges, but I'm not sure it's fair to inflict them on you all on top of my entries to the comic project.
