Round-Up...

Starting with the typical strong lineup for CBS and great weeks for TBBT & HIMYM, which followed up solid repeat viewings from last week with fantastic original results this week. TBBT scored a series high and beat DWTS in the demo at 8pm with HIMYM tied with DWTS for the demo at 8:30pm so for that they are both Winners. Worst Week is now heading for the bin and expect Rules of Engagment to replace it come midseason but the real question is was moving Old Christine for Worst Week really worth it CBS ?

DWTS may of loss its demo streak in the 8-9 slot but had a better last 30 mins and the viewers score was solid. Samantha Who dipped again but is far from danger, however I expected a stronger demo then the 2.7. Boston Legal continued to suffer with the loss of DWTS being the direct lead in and its a really shame. Boston Legal so far this season has been wonderful and I hope more people return for the final episodes.

Deal or No Deal is a pale shadow of itself due to NBC overusing it so much last season though SNL kissed its presidental topic goodbye in style and after seeing it perform so well in midweek slots recently, I would suggest NBC find a way to keep it there for next season.

PB is dying a horrible death and I do hope FOX give the writers enough time to wrap it up but I don't see the slot it could have come January. SCC is living on borrowed time and will never see a 3rd season no matter what other sources of revenue there is and I don't see how 24 could boost it come midseason if 24 is on at 9pm after SCC...Infact SCC could end up hurting 24.

CW was below average due to SNL probably taking away 18-34 viewers but still both shows scored over 3 million so no harm for them.

Wow... that seems like a series low for Boston Legal to me, it's been awhile since it's been that low.

I'm happy about TBBT and HIMYM, both had a great episodes this week and both deserve the ratings.

One of the later episodes last season saw around the same but a demo of 1.8 or 1.9 so this one is just above series low.

I agree....I just discovered The Big Bang Theory this season but have grown to love it that I bought season one last week and watched it already. I have loved How I Met Your Mother for a few seasons now. Together, these two shows are great together and make the start of the week not that bad.

Rumor is TSCC is moving to Wednesdays still.

Wednesdays? Presumably it won't be taking Bones' spot.

If it airs at 9pm it'll go up against;

Criminal Minds (CBS)
Life (NBC)
Private Practice (ABC)

If it airs at 10pm, it'll go up against;

CSI NY (CBS)
L&O (NBC)
Dirty Sexy Money (ABC)

Looking at that, either would be preferable to the current slot which sees it up against;

The Big Bang Theory/How I Met Your Mother (CBS)
Dancing With the Stars (ABC)
Deal or No Deal (NBC)
Gossip Girl (CW)

The 9pm slot would put it up against Criminal Minds, and 10pm CSI NY, but neither are the ratings juggernaut that Dancing With the Stars is.

Terminator is like the guy running from the bear---he doesn't have to outrun the bear, he just has to outrun the other guy.

Slept right through the Presidential Bash. :(
It mostly consisted of 2008 election stuff that's available on the official website. There were a few, brief new segments (including appearances by the real McCain and Palin which must have been taped at the times of their respective appearances on the show) which are also available on the website. They only revisited classic material from elections past in a few extremely brief clips that they played as segues into commercials...which is a pity, as that's the main thing that I tuned in hoping to see, as so little of it is available on the website.
