Fod? I don't know that onePine sure does have a large fod doesn't he?
These must have been done either before filming, or (my guess) only recently, because the makeup and wig on Quinto look nowhere near as good as they do in the shots from the actual movie.
NO WAY!! Captain Kirk with a receding hairline... who would ever believe that?!I believe it means forehead. And I must agree. It's almost distracting.
Really? It doesn't look large to me but rather narrow and small -- moreso than Shatner's -- as if his skull comes to a point under the hair. In fact, his head looks a little shrunk, like a gymnast's, giving his features here a pinched look (compare the distance between the eyes and mouth, for instance, to Quinto's). However, Pine does have a high hairline.I believe it means forehead. And I must agree. It's almost distracting.
Talk about slash fiction! Kirk and Spock are mighty close in these pics. Pine and Quinto do seem a bit too pretty -- but I'm sure TPTB want to attract a female demographic to this movie, hence, the pretty boys! -- RR
You know, you've made that statement before, about the "shrunken head of a gymnast"; it strikes me as coming somewhat out of left field and I have no idea what you mean by it.Really? In the actual movie stills they don't look like pretty boys to me. It's only in these studio shots for mags and such that I think they do. Otherwise they look fine.
