Remember your LAST ep?

I've been a Trekkie for three, maybe four, years now and i'm relatively young (24) compared to a lot of others in this wonderful community of Star Trek. It happened one random day after I had just blazed a monster joint. Had my cigarette, came inside, turned on the TV and "Mirror, Mirror" was just starting. I still remember the first words I heard, which was the dialogue between Kirk and the guy who he was trying to set up a trade agreement with for Dilithium. ("You know you could just TAKE it from us." "We could, but we won't") Anyways...

I was a TOS-only guy for a while, but after seeing every episode 3 or 4 times I figured I'd give TNG a chance. First episode I saw was "Ship in a Bottle" and I was blown away. I then realized "holy shit there is SOOOOO much Star Trek out there, i'll never have to watch bad TV again!"

Now i've seen every episode of TOS, VOY, ENT, and almost all of TNG. There are a few episodes from Season 2 and 7 I haven't seen, but those seasons aren't the greatest anyways.

I've only seen maybe half of DS9, and i'm limiting myself to whenever they show it on Spike. Thankfully I have a DVR, but I still only get a couple episodes a week, if any. I'm going to go into a deep depression when I finally get through with DS9 and those few TNGs I haven't seen.

So my question to you... Do you guys remember watching the LAST (to you obviously) episode in canon? What the hell am I going to do once I've seen all the Star Trek there is to see?!

Maybe I'll pick up on Battlestar Galactica. From the few episodes i've seen it seems quite intriguing.

The last canon Star Trek episode that I viewed was the TNG-finale "All Good Things..." about 2 months back on the Star Trek: Fan Collective - Q DVD.

Since then, I must have either seen both Free Enterprise and the "Futurama" episode "Where No Fan Has Gone Before" 5-times to make up for the fact that I am hardly watching any canon Star Trek until Star Trek XI is released in theaters in May 2009.

I guess the newest one I've seen was "These are the Voyages". The last one I've actually watched (on dvd) was Our Man Bashir:)

Yeah, the last episode of Enterprise..but I knew there would eventually be more Trek. I remember some fairly well known, even intelligent posters on here claiming otherwise and of course, they were wrong..

The last time I watched an episode I had never seen before was January 2007, when I finally got around to buying TNG Season 7 on DVD. I think there were about 3 episodes that season that I had never caught. "Bloodlines" was the last one.

The last episode I watched, period, was VOY's "Relativity". I'm slowly picking up that series on DVD now, and that's where I am on the Season 5 set. I'll probably watch "Warhead" tonight.

weyoun18, if you like DS9 (and I'm guessing from your screenname you do) I would definitely recommend Battlestar Galactica.

If I read correctly, I think what you are asking is: When did you watch what you thought would be the last new Trek episode you thought you would ever see, and how did you feel about it?

If so, each time a series ended I had that feeling. The last TOS episode I saw as a teenager was about the time TAS was starting where I lived.
TNG- didn't really give me that feeling because I had worked on creating a series for ST that was booted for the B&B series you seem to like.
DS9- I never watched it during first run, for the reason stated above. I was glad when it wrapped.
VOY- I watched it, but never got as excited about it as I did TOS or TNG. However, I did get sad thinking that with the low ratings of DS9 and VOY, we would never see Trek onscreen again.
ENT- Same as VOY. I was surprised that we had new Trek, then disappointed with the quality and writing. I wasn't surprised when it was cancelled, but KNEW I'd never see more Trek after TATV.
Star Trek 2009- I was shocked, exasperated and excited to hear that a new movie was being produced. Star Trek may yet live again.

The last episode of Trek that I saw that was new to me was Minefield in Enterprise's second season.

Other than that, I've caught reruns of Voyager on Spike maybe once a week.

The last new episode I saw was TATV. The most recent episode I watched was A Piece of the Action. Bit of a contrast there, Spocko.

Newest one? These are the voyages.

Last one I hadn't seen yet for some unknown reason? Uh, that one where Troi gets pregnant and has that energy-lifeform child. Can't remember the name of the episode, but it was TNG's second season.

The most recent ep I'd never seen before would have been something from either the second or third season of Enterprise. The fact I can't recall what or when pretty much says it all about my opinion of said series. :D To each their own, though.

The most recent ep I watched was Voyager's "Time and Again". I really, really need to get that rewatch back under way.

I don't remember what the last episode I watched was, but I think it was from the latter-middle of Voyager. I've still not seen a number of episodes of Voyager, Deep Space Nine, and Enterprise.

Ent series closer was the last one for me. I watched most of the eps, after the series closer for TNG, years after the series actually ended. I feel there are plenty of back-story and sequel possibilities, so I can look forward to new ST now and then until I die.

So my question to you... Do you guys remember watching the LAST (to you obviously) episode in canon?

Sure, it was "These Are The Voyages" on Sky. I remember thinking the episode sucked, was a letdown after an otherwise great season, and was sad that it'd be a few years before there'd be anything new.

What the hell am I going to do once I've seen all the Star Trek there is to see?!

Watch it again and pick up on touches you missed before, or just to chill out to favourite episodes.

Go and find other shows - Firefly, BSG, Buffy, new Dr Who, etc...
