The Night Crew

^But we've only just got started!
Are you doing workstudy?
Depends on what you mean by workstudy, ive never heard that term before. It's like a co-op or internship we get school credit for.

And Ria's right, you DO seem to be the only fine one in here
Not workstudy, then. Workstudy is a government financial aid program in which the student is employed doing community work (I did America Reads, a program that places college students in public schools as tutors) and is paid in place of taking out a government loan.

As for fine, not really. I've been halving my meds because I'm having insurance troubles (have I mentioned that I hate this country's imbecilic, uncivilized, amoral, and pathetic lack of universal healthcare?), and I'm just crossing my fingers that my shrink will be able to give me some free samples of the meds I'm taking so I won't run out before my insurance gets reinstated. And that, my dears, is the least of my troubles. But I'm used to it.

People always seem to think of me as spirited, optimistic, and upbeat. But really I'm just a very good faker.

Im still mastering my faking, i can do it bt it depends on how well a person knows me.

But yeah, the work placement im getting excited for, just because i might be able to get on with the Edmonton Oilers. THatd be a major confidence booster for me

^Will you hate me if I told you I had to Google that? Of course, I was also the girl who, when asked if I was into March Madness, responded, "That's a basketball thing, right?"

Your work placement thing sounds like my student teaching. We got credit, we worked full-time, but we didn't get paid.

Haha its okay, I am just really into hockey :p The only thing is that depending on what company i get on with, i may get paid.

I spent the evening at my Godchildren's house...well, really their parents' house, since the children are both babies. We watched Saw 3.

I used the random assortment of booze I had over there, plus a Pepsi I got out of the vending machine to make 2 cocktails.

The first: UV Vanilla vodka, Wildberry Pucker, and Pepsi

The second: UV Vanilla vodka, Butterscotch schnapps, and Pepsi

Both drinks were delicious, though I think the second was a little too sugary. It gave me a slight headache.

Then baby Cooper woke up at 3am to be fed. And then he went to bed, and I'm finally home at 4am. Two of the cars in my apartment parking lot have had their rear windows smashed out. There is glass all over the pavement. Kinda scary.

Really? Nobody has responded since last night? LAME!

Anyway, today I bought Little Big Planet for PS3, along with the new Snow Patrol album. I called in sick from work, and I have spent the entire day on my couch playing.

I have only moved to go to the bathroom and to get food.

no have to admit i dont remember hearing of them.
just really in the last couple of months got back into reading books a lot.

Sherman Alexi is a Spokane Indian author of poetry, novels, short-stories, film scripts, songs, and non-fiction essays. He has been one of my favorite authors since I was in high school, and one of the most influential in my life. I'd highly recommend his collection of short stories, The Lone Ranger and Tonto Fist Fight in Heaven. I'd also recommend the movie Smoke Signals.
