Thirteen brings her one-night stand...

Already the best. Episode. Ever.

Ahem, sorry.

From TV.com

Thirteen brings her one-night stand to the hospital after the woman has a seizure. However, the woman admits she slept with Thirteen just so she could get to House and have him diagnose her condition. Meanwhile, House continues to pay Lucas to spy on Wilson.

Can't wait to see if House's "You're fired" (in the preview) was for real or part of some sort of manipulative ploy.

Did we know that 13 was into women? I don't remember. In any case, this should be good based on the preview I saw.

"Pentouse Forum meets medical mystery!" - Dr. House

Can I give it an 'Excellent' now?

:o

^ I'm surprised that I'd forget a detail like that. :o

This whole thing has me thinking of something Megan Fox said in the October 2008 issue of GQ Magazine...

"I mean, I could see myself in a relationship with a girl -- Olivia Wilde is so sexy she makes me want to strangle a mountain ox with my bare hands. She’s mesmerizing."

I think she would have done the episode.

Yeah, I think we learned this in the episode where House treats a hasidic Jewish woman in the series' Winter closer. The result of that case had the woman's liver "detached" from it's place. (Whenever she stood up her kidney would "fall" in her abodmen causing medical problems. House wanted to X-Ray her to confirm.

House asked Thirteen (already suspecting she was bi) "You do it both ways, right?"

"Huh?!"

"You'll X-Ray her sitting up and standing to confirm it, right?"

;)

There were only a couple of very brief sideways comments in passing, but that's about it.

Intresting beginning to tonight's episode. At least we got that part out of hte way. ;)

Humor quotient is up - in reference to Wilson: "He's either working for Hirohito or the New England Patriots."

I'm still watching the opening 30 seconds of the episode.

I just keep rewinding it and rewinding it over and over.

I think my DVR is broke.

House is being pretty brutal to 13. But then he usually has a backup motivation to such tactics. Maybe he's taking the tough road with her, to get her to snap out of this death spiral. Yeah, not sure I belive it either.

Wilson... is understandably vulnerable but also apparently not thinking too clearly. prostitute who says she wants to go to law school? :vulcan: OTOH, WIlson is not stupid....

Has Robert Sean Leonard ever received at least a nomination for his work on this show? The wya this season is starting he darn well better be!

Anyone else hoping for a Megan Fox appearance on House?

Men are not the only ones hot for Olivia Wilde. Megan Fox has a serious girl-on-girl crush for the 24 year-old actress.

“I mean, I could see myself in a relationship with a girl — Olivia Wilde is so sexy she makes me want to strangle a mountain ox with my bare hands. She’s mesmerizing,” Fox said in an interview with GQ magazine.

<--West coaster so tonight's episode is still a few hours away.

Sheep.... yeah, I think B007 said that as well.

Oh yes!!! Wilson is playing House AND us.

Wow at the preview!

Looks good this week...but meh tonight...don't care enough about 13

The House/Wilson stuff was good though, and even the Wilson "I'm boring" stuff

What House did to/for 13... beautiful. Except that it apparently hasn't worked. She's still feeling alone - more than understandable given that her friend is now going to live instead of dying with her. But she's still spiraling farther downward. She's lucky she has a job, because House was right to fire her.

Have to say I am more impressed with Wilde's acting chops the more we see of her. Here's hoping she gets a role or two where she gets to break some new gorunf that doesn't involve something so sensational or titillating. ;)

Good catch. And good episode. It started off pretty damn hot, then took a turn and went deeper. The whole thing was a pretty great 13 story and as usual, House comes through at the last minute, for both 13 and the patient. I give this one an 'Excellent'.

Why was House upset at Cuddy's news?

Just a guess, but ... Did you see the teaser for next week's episode? :D
I did.

What am I missing? :vulcan:

[Edit] I'm pretty sure I saw a different preview than you did. I didn't get the FOX version. I just saw a drugged out woman who's supposed to be carrying the baby Cuddy is adopting. The baby has developed some problems and the blonde woman tells Cuddy she's sorry. I didn't see anything that tells my why House was upset in tonight's episode.
