She died onscreen, she wasn't assimilated ... which, given the way the Voyager writers played loose with continuity (and basic logic), means she was probably going to be the Borg Queen in Endgame if Alice Krige didn't come back.

My answer in any case is a definite 'hell no'.

I would have liked to see Cassidy in a crossover between series. She was another wasted character IMO.

Yes, I believe she was wasted too, and it could have been done. Sisko is pulled out of that wreckage, and who knows, maybe the borg came aboard...that could have been written in...

Would have been interesting if instead of getting Seven of Nine, they had rescued Jennifer and she became the character that Seven did. Could imagine what would have happened after Voyager finally made contact with the Alpha Quadrant and the information of Jennifer's rescue was passed on to Sisko as he prepared to marry Kassidy? Yeah, I know..to soap operish. But I like that kind of stuff, and continuity, like this, was something Voyager lacked, IMO

Personally I think that would be a bad idea. It would waste time on DS9 with Sisko and Jake sorting this out and then in the end you have another plot point that is left dangling.

I think the idea of a blank slate like Seven, a person who was assimilated at a young age and spent most of her life in the collective and has to really learn what it is to be human a more interesting idea then a pointless tie in with Deep Space 9.

What reason would there be for Jennifer to be on Voyager? There's no personal connection to any of the characters on Voyager. If they had done that, we'd be calling them on gratuitous stunt casting, trying to draw in audience from DS9.

By the time Voyager reestablished contact with Starfleet, DS9 was in the midst of the Dominion War. There'd be no way to devote proper time to even the idea of Jennifer being alive, assimilated, and half a galaxy away.

No. Can't see it. Besides Voyager never really tried to connect with DS9 (not even mentioning the Dominion by name in "Hunters").

Actually, novelist Robert Simpson pitched this idea for a book, and it was shot down by TPTB. He eventually used the idea in the DS9 novel Mission Gamma: Lesser Evil, replacing Ben and Jen with new station XO Elias Vaughn and his wife, Ruriko.

Ah well I think Vaughn's mere presence is enough to make the Relaunch Trek Universe smaller.

So? The Dominion was referenced in name a couple of episodes later in "Message in a Bottle".

Wasn't the Doctor's response "Who?". Given that Voyager must have known about the Dominion before they ended up in the Delta Quadrant it's abit odd. Eh nevermind it's probably because I saw Repression a few days ago. :(

I would have loved seeing Jennifer on Voyager. Her story is, or, would be no less implausible than Neelix's, or Seven's, or Kess's, or any of the former Maquis. Okay, a little more.

But the actress would have been boffo! Loved her. As long as we're doing the Progesterone, Estrogen thing, how about a little variety? Yes!

I totally agree!!! I thought the babe who played Jennifer was hot. And hey, why not a 'real' black character? Nothing against Tuvok, but he was a black vulcan, not an African-American. Many of my African-American friends don't care for Voyager because of that reason. Yeah, I can already hear the 'they cast in terms of ability, not color of skin' blah blah blah. Yeah, if so? Then how do you account for Kes? I'd trade her for Jennifer Sisko any day.
