I thought someone else was making these threads for this season, but...

The body of a cancer research scientist is found frozen, at first Crews and Reese think it was an animal rights group, but as they look into the scientists personal life they aren't so sure. Crews tries to prove that Jack Reese was involved in him going to prison.

Sakrysta must be slacking. ;) She started the thread for the first episode, then I started the second episode thread at midnight after it had aired since she hadn't been around to do it yet. I was at work last night. We'll just have a hodgepodge of grading thread starters this season! Why not, right?

Anyways, I haven't actually seen the episode yet, due to that pesky work thing, so for now I will leave you all with the following gatha to contemplate:

    I voted Above Average

Compared to HEROES before it, it was excellent but based on its own merit I'm going to go with above average.

I admit I thought the hottie assistant(Naomi from LOST) was such an obvious target I dismissed her at first. I was really thinking it was the shunned recluse assistant. Then as it unfolded I felt they did a good job of revealing the murderer as the janitor.Shock, it WAS the hottie assistant.

I take off points for the B-story of Ted getting on at the university.

I missed last Fridays episode but will make a better mental note to record it this Friday. Especially since that is going to be its home going forward.

Another great episode with a lot of humorous moments. My favorite:

"If I have sex with him, you're going to kill me immediately."
    "She's an aggressive female."

Life is quickly rivaling House when it comes to the level hilarity in a drama and that's only a good thing. :D

Not much on the conspiracy this week other than Jack being scared and pissed about some higher up (OOOO! We can't see his face! Except I found the actor on IMDB.) and Connie going on a denial trip. Hopefully we'll get more this Friday.

Ted's side story was pretty uninteresting as was Charlie's obsession with his ex. He needs to get over her. She's major bleah in every aspect. On the plus side, I loved Dani calling out her father at the dinner table.

So anyone think they know where they're going with Constance (what was with the makeup overkill, anyway?) pretending she didn't hear Hollis confess about working for Reese?

Do the Evil 5 have something on her?

Anyone think they might be changing things so that, while Reese was part of the robbery and coverup, he didn't order Hollis to kill the family and may actually just be someone who got in over his head with the even bigger bads?

 I'm probably not the best person to do the thread, because I watch online, which means I don't get to see the episode until the next day. And anyway, I'm way too busy to commit to do it consistently. However, if I come on here having seen the episode and there's no thread, I will definitely start one. :techman:

The hilarity factor seemed to go up a notch this week:

Tidwell: "You broke the murder victim." (Was that result even remotely possible?)

Dani: "If I have sex with him, you're going to kill me immediately." (Which was a foreshadowing of doom if ever I heard one. If they put those two characters together, I might not be able to stomach watching this show.)

Dani: "Is that from where the monkey hit you?"
    Charlie: *shakes head*
Dani: "Someone hit you after the monkey?"
    Charlie: *nods*
Dani: "Do I want to know?"
    Charlie: *shakes head*
Dani: "Glad we had this talk."

Another solid episode, with some really great moments (particularly the humorous ones already mentioned). I also liked Charlie's conversation with the animal rescue guy and thought that Charlie getting punched by the ex-wife's new husband was overdue, as much as I may like Charlie.

I wouldn't be surprised if they have something on everyone in Charlie's life.

The frozen guy was the perfect chance for Crews and Reese to discover a serial killer who calls himself Sylar. :)

Though Sylar wouldn't be able to cut open Reese's head and take her superpower of extreme hotness.

I was thinking along those lines as well.

This level of hotness can only be controlled by a few.

Cracked up (pun intended) when Charlie cracked the frozen scientist. It was made even more hilarious by Dani's "I told you not to touch anything!". They work really well together.

Charlie deserved to get punched. He was an ass. He is an ass for pursuing her. She abandoned him in his time of need, thought him capable of murder, and he still goes sniffing at her. WTF?! I'd rather see him with Candace or the random babe of the week.

I didn't realize Marsha Thomson was the killer until the end. I really thought it was the owner of the lab, who made me giggle every time he showed up on screen. What is it with every man, except Charlie and the guilty, checking Dani out? Oh, yeah...looks at picture above post.
