It could not possibly be soon enough. If the book was waiting for me when I got home from work today, that wouldn't be soon enough for me!
 
And lets not forget "Star Trek The Collectibles" book which is slated for a late Sept early Oct release.
I just received my advanced copy today in the mail so it is certainly going to arrive in stores and at places like Amazon any day now:

^ O.K., I guess I'm risking to come off as rude, but I have to ask: Do you plan to contribute anything to the TrekLit forum beside pimping your book? :vulcan:

And before someone says the fiction authors do it, too: Beside the fact that most of them actually take part in discussions not involving their works, I haven't seen them opening multiple threads about one of their books and demanding it to be added to lists in the FAQ or the Upcoming books thread.
 
I have actually posted on this forum for quite awhile now, and only recently started "pimping" my book as you put it since after all it is about to come out.
I do read many posts and simply choose not to reply, usually because someone else has already said something similar to what I would have posted or simply had nothing to add. Plus, to be quite honest, I haven't posted on here much over the past 6 months or so, or other boards either as I was kinda busy authoring the book and now the magazine and all.
So there you have it :)

Back to the September schedule, has Star Trek 101 been released yet? In the last two days I've been in both Barnes & Noble and Borders, and haven't seen it on the shelves.

Anyone here seen a copy?

My copy came yesterday from BAMM.com. It's a very cool book!
 
Actually, being the cheap-ass that I am, I ordered ST101 from the library. This will at least give me a chance to take a gander at it.
 
Wounds should start showing up in a couple of weeks, if the usual trend from when copies hit the Pocket offices to when they hit the stores holds. I have a copy of Wounds straight from the office sitting next to my computer right now.
 
I got Kobayashi Maru today. Not often I get books here the month they are officially realeased in the States, even if it is the second last day of the month! :)
 
Just released is "Matheson Uncollected, Volume One" by Richard Matheson (Gauntlet, 2008), a signed and numbered edition, limited to 500 hardcover copies. I bought mine through Amazon.

Half of this book is made up of the script of "The Enemy Within" (TOS), and related materials: an essay by Tony Albarella called "Split Personality: The Evolution of Richard Matheson's The Enemy Within", and the introduction by George Clayton Johnson ("The Man Trap" and the never-developed "Rock-a-Bye Baby - or Die!")

Of particular interest, remember that odd comment from Spock to Rand about Kirk's "interesting qualities"? This line goes to Rand in this script version (Final Draft, June 8, 1966). The essay notes that the "B" story, of Sulu trapped down on the planet, was added by Roddenberry and his staffers. Matheson didn't think the script required those scenes.

Also in the book is Matheson's unfinished novel, "Lost Colony", and some previously uncollected short stories.
