I still can't believe where I'm going to end up. I'm going to be actually improving this year than the last. Just given what happened, it's almost unreal.

And it's nice to know that whatever the outcome, the winner will come from our NL division.Alright, here we go: For the 2nd straight year, the Ken Walter Fan Club will be playing in the finals (for the ESPN keeper league). I'm kinda in rough shape, and don't love the matchup, so will probably be claiming the (always a bridesmaid, never a bride) crap in 2 weeks, but hey, I'm there.
And both teams in the finals came out of the MUCH stronger NL this year. No more of Coaster's weak shit to feast upon
Made it to the finals in the Yahoo league, but I really messed with my roster last week in order to get there. It's going to be a tough match against the Icewarriors, but I'm hoping my team can pull it off. I'd hate to finish 2nd two years in a row.
one problem with howthe rankings worked out is how we do the banners. last year, it was me and Coaster for the title, so obvious AL and NL champs. This year, it's me and McCosh, both NL teams. Gotta either fix the playoff brackets in the future to FORCE a NL vs AL matchup (not a fan of that plan, best two teams should play), or figure out how to award the banners differently.
For example, this year, the AL champ will finish 3rd overall. 3rd place doesn't get a banner. The two teams playing in the Championship should win the division banners for being the best two teams, but if, for example, I win the matchup, I'd get the trophy and the NL banner, and McCosh as the 2nd place team would get nothing. OR, he gets a division banner, but it's the AL banner

another amusing quirk, but the Admirals got the #2 seed and a 1st round bye in the playoffs, being the best in their division. SHOULD have been able to carry their own division, but I was the #3 seed and wound up in this predicament, although I was the #2 team by record 
just saying, we either need to stick with the division system all the way to the end, or need to tweak how banners are awarded...

Congrats to Peg on a hard fought victory in the Yahoo! league.
So my first tie of this whole season comes on the final day and I lose 7th place. I'm not complaining much about that, but it does kind of suck a little. 
Thanks. That was an awfully close match and it could have gone either way. We were tied going into the last day- I was worried that the ERA tie-breaker (which I would've lost) would come into play.
Now it's time to concentrate on my struggling fantasy football teams!
I've got to admit though that the fact that it was so close made it a very exciting match. I was also wonderring if the ERA rule would have to come into play on this one.

The current mixture of recognition is that we have some for the regular season achievements and playoff achievements. But if you want to add a trophy suggest one.
