Best conversation you've had with a celebrity?

Had a bunch of cocktails with Tim Matheson one blurry evening. I internally cringed directly after my introductory line of "Damn glad to meetcha", but he cracked up. He's a really nice guy, and truly enjoys being recognised. Also, when I was waiting tables in college, Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick used to come in to my place late at night (they were doing a play locally), and I waited on them a few times. Two very sweet people. :techman:

My one and only "meet a celebrity" story goes as follows:

At a Star Trek covention in 1994, my mom arranged for me to meet Robin Curtis (my favorite Saavik). It was my 24th birthday and we spent a few minutes chatting while she waited to go on stage. My mom also took several pictures of me and Robin together. (Funny sidebar: whenever somebody sees one of those pictures which I framed and hung in my living room see it, they always comment on "how pretty my mom is", she wasn't even in the picture.) Later when we were all in the dealers room and she was up on the stage singing autographs, she got the entire convention to sing "Happy Birthday" to me.

Suffice it to say, it was one of my more pleasant memories.

A long time ago, I worked at a record store in Gainesville, FL, and River Phoenix was a customer. I had to have him come in the store(he was in his car and sent a brother in his place)and redo his rental agreement. He was very nice and gracious about it.

I also took a sociology course in college and Emmitt Smith was in my class. I had him sign a picture and chatted with him for a few minutes. He was pretty cool about it. He didn't end up finishing the class though:p

Talked about music and hunting with Ted Nugent once over coffee at my favorite Starbucks.

Thats cool, but I have a hard time getting the mental picture of the Nuge sitting in a Starbucks drinking coffee. Please tell me he didn't order a frappachino.

$10 says hazelnut macchiado
I'm not sure what he was drinking, I'm pretty sure it was a latte of some sort. This wasn't his first or last visit there, my friends say he's a regular.
