Running commentary as I watched the episode:
Liking the new saga sell.
Not liking the much-too-long opening music video.
So, did Cameron reboot or something? That's annoying.
I'm not impressed with the redhead. She has this Cleopatra 2525 vibe about her. Something about her demeanor and look cheapens the veracity of impending apocalypse.
Why doesn't Cameron have weapons? She could easily have picked John off with a gun as she approached the car wreck. Terminators are smarter than that. She looks like a lurching zombie. Granted, a zombie that could pull you apart, but still.
I DO like that Cameron's program hasn't been erased or re-written. There's just an override command in place. This makes her a constant potential threat, as she was here. Although I didn't really buy how much of a threat she was, with her staggering around weaponless.
You know, I've grown to dislike peanut butter & jelly sandwiches over the years, but all of a sudden, I'm hungry for one.
Okay, so now that I've seen redhead's REAL identity, I dislike her even more. F-minus in the casting department. She's just horrid. This character needs more of an Angela Petrelli vibe, and less of a "I just arrived from Farscape's 'Scratch 'n' Sniff' planet" vibe. I like the concept of this level of Terminator working against the Connors here, but I do not like this actress/character at all.

I'm afraid that may have been a mistake. Charlie's wife isn't supposed to be captured until the third episode.
In that case, thanks for the spoiler.FactSpeculation, or is this something you know for a fact?![]()
Could I ask a favor? Could we avoid the spoilers about future episodes in the current episode's discussion thread? I've stayed away from the Season 2 spoiler thread because I know there are spoilers there I don't want to read. However, I'd surely like to be able to discuss an episode and read the thread without being spoiled about future episodes. Thanks! The series is very similar to the Infiltrator novel series in tone (down to the FBI agent joining the company and working directly for a Terminator).
