Official TrekBBS Fantasy Football League!

I forgot to do my pre-rankings. I wonder how badly my draft went... ::goes to check::

Eh, it could have been worse. Not too sure about Bulger, but if he can actually stay healthy for once it might work out.

so, am i the only one that can't get the draft to work for ESPN? It was going fine, then I got kicked out...

Well, that kind of sucked. At first I thought it was my computer screwing up again. Doesn't look like I'll be able to make the new draft date- I'm pretty booked up this week. Oh well, I'll just have to hope autodraft does good for me.

Looks like I might be able to make it to tonight's keeper league re-draft afterall. Now I just have to come up with a strategy to get my team out of the basement. I may have to think long term and consider this a rebuilding year.

Was stupid enough to join yet another league. A bar league that I hadn't played in for years was short an owner (he's in jail for his 5th DUI), and I agreed to take over the team. We had the draft on Wednesday- it took almost 4 hours to draft 13 rounds.

With 4 fantasy teams, I'll probably end up rooting for and against just about every player I own. Chances are that nearly every player I have will be on an opponent's roster in another league.

yeah, my team needs some serious work as well. good enough to be a contender, but not good enough to get much past 4th or so at best right now. Made some bad choices the first year, and drafting 12th the first time didn't help...

*sigh*

Pissed I forgot and missed the first 8 rounds of the draft (only 3 picks, since I had 5 keepers). In the 6th round, I took Selvim Young, who should be really good, but I meant to actually keep Calvin Johnson before, so when he came up in the 6th as still available, I would have grabbed him had I remembered to show up on time.

Either way, not a lot of upside for my team at the moment, but it at least looks more solid than last year's disaster...

I'm not too happy with who Autodraft picked after I bowed out of the draft. I went to make some changes, but it looks like the undrafted players won't clear waivers until Thursday. In hindsight, I should have stuck it out for those last few rounds. Not only would I have the players I wanted, but I'd probably have less of a hangover right now.

Well... while most of my team hasn't actually played yet, I can say with some degree of confidence that I've lost this week..this'll be a long season if I don't figure out how to do this well!

Hmmm...my team in the Yahoo AFC league was disappointing this week. Not to mention, my starting QB Brady is probably out for the season. I wish I didn't forget about the live draft.

On a more positive note, my ESPN keeper team is doing ok this week.

I lost Tom Brady and Dallas Clark, two players who were going to be awesome for me this week. Both in the first quarter. I'm screwed.:censored:

You won't win so easily next time Pookha Hare!:klingon:

Well, today has kind of sucked. So many injuries, and these injuries are putting the whole Fantasy Football thing on edge. Given what happened with Baseball and the fact that I might lose this week, I think I'm close to panic mode already.

Ya sad to see Brady go down, with what might be a serious injury. I had a pretty good starting week myself, with my two running backs having big weeks.

i did pretty well despite for once not checking all the injury reports and started someone who was inactive.

akira clark hurt me in another league.

Had a good week, should win all three of my leauge this week. Look brilliant for selecting Michael Turner when I did, too :)

Jury's still out on Ricky Williams, though...

Don't really wanna talk about REAL (non-fantasy) football and tom brady at the moment

I blew out Skywalker in spite of the fact that Chris Cooley sucked on Thursday (Why do I keep picking him, year after year, thinking he'll be any good?), that Marques Colston sucked, and that the Titans shut Fred Taylor down. And of course, I had Chris Johnson on my bench instead of my team. Thank you, Willie Parker with your 31.8 points.

That's okay, I always have a bad first week for some reason. I'm confident that Adrian Peterson, Larry Johnson, Laurence Maroney, Chad Johnson, Anquan Boldin, and Marvin Harrison can get it done for me. :) I wish my quarterback situation were a bit better, though if Delhomme actually stays healthy and plays like he did last year and this Sunday...

I was shocked that Marvin Harrison didn't have more points. (I'm still shocked and pleased the Colts lost.) And yeah, I'd start Delhomme over Bulger next week.
