For those who read Before Dishonor and know how it ended, is there any answer to this question. I think it should have some bearing, but will it be a factor in the Destiny books? Will it be in the upcoming Voyager book?

Given the scale of what happened in that book, it HAS to have affected the Voyager books in some not-small way. And I believe it has been said that BD and Greater Than the Sum were both leading into Destiny, so that answer is "yes".
Nobody's ever said that BD was specifically leading into Destiny; it's just one of the books taking place in the year prior to Destiny. Though since the books are all in the same continuity, the aftermath of the events of BD won't be forgotten in subsequent books.

^^With no likelihood of any more 24th-century Trek being filmed in the foreseeable future, there's really no restriction on what Trek lit can do with those characters these days.

well it kinda looked like she became a Q so i dont know. maybe the female q is playing with her like Q did to Picard in tapestry
Her fate was deliberately left wide open, so that she's essentially dead until someone decides that she needs to come back into the real world.
With Voyager getting new books next year (a re-relaunch?) and us still not knowing what all happens in Destiny, its a good bet we'll get how her old crew feels about it and maybe some clues about what's next for Janeway.
No, Full Circle picks up right where Spirit Walk left off, it just has a different author. Kirsten Beyer instead of Christie Golden.

As to my take on this issue...
Of course Janeway's death has a huge impact on the future of the Voyager characters. That part of the story was left for me to explore and while I'm sure everyone will have their own thoughts about how it is handled, I've done the best I can to stay true to all of the characters as they face and move beyond her death.
Beyond that, I will tell you what I told the fans at Shoreleave when the "how do you feel about Janeway's death?" question was raised.
My first choice would not have been to promote Janeway to Admiral the moment the ship got home. I know we have Nemesis to deal with, but there was still time between Endgame and Nemesis to play with. Once that was done, however, every other writer was then given the unenviable task of figuring out what the hell to do with her as an Admiral.
I know, I know, I know...everyone has lots of fabulous ideas about the great things Admiral Janeway might have accomplished, but from a pure storytelling point of view, there are really only a couple of choices. Once she's off the ship we either have to give her a compelling story line apart from the adventures of the rest of the crew, or we have to allow her to fade into the background, which I always found difficult since for me she was the heart and soul of the series.
I'm not ashamed to say, despite the Janeway bashing which often goes on around here, and the inconsistencies in her character which were allowed to run rampant on the show, that Kathryn Janeway was one of my favorite characters to write.
But...
I also believe that we get a lot more mileage, character wise, by dealing with her death than we ever could by trying to force her unrealistically into every Voyager story we created after she was promoted.
As a fan, of course I was sad to see her die. As a writer, I was totally on board. I know I can't stop you all from continuing to speculate but I would suggest that you wait and see what's coming and decide at that point whether or not you agree with the choices that have been made.

Hmm. Doesn't really make sense to me. With Janeway, Tuvok, the EHM, Seven, Barclay and Icheb all on Earth, it seemed like there was a fairly sizeable cast for telling stories off the ship. Or else, Janeway could have been one of those in-the-field admirals, based off a flagship. And, of course, if the fact of her promotion is simply unmanageable, there's always demotion. Janeway pulls a Kirk, doesn't something very unorthodox but still legitimate enough not to warrant be cashiered out of the service altogehter, and is busted down to captain. Voilà, instant reset.
The thought occurs: I hope this doesn't mean Shelby is likewise marked for termination, now that she's an admiral as well.
