An overnight fire in New Mallory has caused my pollution to soar to double digits!

Police are currently searching for the arsonist, and when they catch him you can be sure justice will be swiftly dispensed.

I cleaned up some of my mess, er, I mean the arsonist's mess.

This is so weird. My comment is not showing and the two parks after me aren't showing nor is the pollution index coming down.

Thanks for the disaster relief effort folks, it's making a difference to the beleaguered citizens of New Mallory. The fire itself is weird though. I've never seen something like that in any other city I've visited since we started this. It's probably just a random thing, but I wonder if there was a particular set of circumstances that tripped the event.

I've seen it in another city recently. I remember panning and wondering if there would be burnt houses.
It is an interesting question though.

I've just had another look at Mallory's city and I'm sure I commented, but it doesn't seem to have stuck! I commented on everyone's city a little while ago when I did my round.

Same here. I normally go through auntiehill's list every other day, and leave comments. I didn't go through the entire list today, but I did give mallory some disaster relief. I'll hit the full list and leave comments tomorrow.

I wonder if the fire is set off by a sudden increase in growth? Perhaps it just stops cities from getting too big too fast.
