In response to the people who PMed me about the " too old" actors of late, I present to you someone who is about as young as you can get and still be legal (barely): Shia LaBeouf (pronounced "SHY-uh Luh-Buff). At 22, this California actor first became famous as a child actor on the television show "Even Stevens." He made the transition to film roles with the family film, Holes, and supporting roles in Constantine and I, Robot. (wiki)

Following LaBeouf's lead role in The Greatest Game Ever Played, film producer and director Steven Spielberg cast him in starring roles in the 2007 films Disturbia and Transformers. LaBeouf also worked with Spielberg in 2008's Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull and the upcoming Eagle Eye.

While filming the sequel to Transformers, Shia was in a well-publicized car accident which crushed his left hand. He was cited for a misdemeanor DUI but found to be not at fault for the accident.

He was named 2007's "star of tomorrow" by the ShoWest convention of the National Association of Theater Owners, and in 2008, won a BAFTA Rising Star Award, which is voted on by the British general public.

So, yes, he's pretty darn young, but is he a hunk? You decide.

I know many people even older than I am (yes, they DO exist) who have the hots for Shia. But me---I can't look at him without thinking that I need to baby-sit him. Thumbs Down.

I think I need to see Eagle Eye before I vote. He's never done anything for me and his party boy antics are kind of a turn off, but I haven't really seen him in a sexy guy role.

Ditto.

He might get hunkier looking as he gets older because I can see the potential but for right now, uh, no. :p

Aside from the fact that he's young enough to be my kid ... I still think he's still butt ugly. Thumbs down.

Ya, he's gonna grow up nicely ;)

But for now I'm a sideways...still remember him from his Disney show and Holes! lol!

On an aesthetic level I find him quiet beautiful. He is not your classic handsome man but there is just something about his mouth and eyebrows that really sets off his face. Right now he reminds me of several figures in classic art like Gainsborough's "The Blue Boy" or Michelangelo's "David". As he matures, I think he is going to turn into something of a classic Hollywood hunk though... if he doesn't get himself killed first. (I can't say much since I was the same way at his age.)

But I would like to make sure that everyone understands that I do not find him sexually attractive at all. (I prefer my men to be older.) I also remember him from "Holes" and get a little creeped out thinking about him in that way.

^^ Yeah, you're right; he is kind of the Wil Wheaton type. Maybe that's why I don't like him much.

The only thing I've seen him in is Indy IV and I thought he was kind of miscast; and the thought of him continuing the series doesn't really inspire me. Gotta say Thumbs Down.

I loved his stuff in Surf's Up, absolutely gorgeous voice. Those magazine shots up there are mighty fine too. Thumbs up!

Good lord, is this the level of desperation we've been reduced to? :rommie:

I think now would be a good time to trot out Zachary Quinto. Clearly, we have gone through all the genuine hunks in existence.

^Nice try, Temis.

At least now I won't hear any more "He's too old" from you people.

I have these guys waiting in the wings:
John Simm, Orlando Bloom, Milo Ventimiglia, Jake Gyllenhal, Joaquin Phoenix, Ethan Hawke, Brad Pitt, Brandon Routh, Robert Downey, Jr. and Hugo Weaving.

Nope. Thumbs down.

(And I actually remembered to vote.)
And that makes you, I, and kitkat in total agreement.

I don't think the universe can handle this...
:lol::lol:

Yep, I fear the impending explosion of molecules.

This is a frightening development , but I'll reserve my true horror and fear for the future of the universe when we agree that someone is hot. 'Cos everything's doomed if / when that happens.
