SF&F AV CONTEST: No Respect (the under-appreciated)

First off, thanks for the votes! It was a very narrow victory indeed. For this week, since we just did "Great idea, bad execution," I thought we'd go with the under-appreciated, the ignored, the dishonored of the Sci-Fi/fantasy world. What show, movie, book, comic, etc. do you think has not gotten the respect it deserved? You may even use specific characters or episodes, if you like.

I can't wait to see what you come up with!

I was runnin' the "Are You My Mummy?" avatar contest a couple of weeks ago, ya know.

But I really don't post as much as I used to since I stopped bein' a mod.

Yeah, I've been readin' those. Haven't picked up Fearful Symmetry yet, though, 'cause I heard some stuff in it ties in with the Terok Nor trilogy, and I just started the second book of that series this past weekend.
