Well, I found this thread a little late, but my son and I will be going to Las Vegas this year. I've submitted a couple of music videos in the past, but I took a break this time. I think nearly everyone must be submitting videos now! Lots of competition! Anyway, I was trying to reduce the crazy per ticket service charge on mail orders and ended up missing out on a Michel Dorn autograph I wanted. If anyone has a gold ticket and isn't planning on getting Dorn, maybe you could help me out!??

Thank you! I've been working on upgrading my Borg costume for the past month every night after work and on the weekends. I don't have tickets for the Creation parties, but I will be going to the Roddenberry shindig at the Mirage on Thursday Night dressed like Data from "The Big Goodbye"-- partly to protest the closure of the Experience

Would be nice to meet you before that! I'll be wearing a badge with JiNX-01 on it to make it easier for people on the various boards I visit to find me.

I will be in the theatre nearly all day with my son. I will certainly look for your nametag. It might be easier to find me though! Between photo ops,autographs, and all the speakers, there is not much free time! I am 6 tall, wear glasses, 240lbs, and will be wearing a black polo shirt. and my son is 12, blond hair, and will either be walking with a limp or be in an electric cart or wheel chair (foot surgery.) I will plan to leave the theatre and be in the registration area at 5:00, 5:30, and 6:00, to make it easier to find each other. With luck we will run into each other before Sunday, but if not, look for me at the times I mentioned. I truly appreciate your offer, I will bring something with me to give you, I hope you will like it!
Helicopter rides to the Grand Canyon are available. You might want to shop around for the price. Hoover Dam is about 30+/- miles by car.

I'd like to say Hi to you in person too, look for me with my son during the weekend. As far as a tour goes... I have not done an official tour, but I have rented a car and done Hoover Dam and the Grand Canyon with my family. I definately would recommend it, but it the canyon will cut an entire day from the convention, so I would do it before or after the con, or on another trip if you have time.
For everyone considering doing this sometime let me say this... Both the North Rim and South Rim are nearly the same travel time from Las Vegas. If you ever do the North Rim, it will be less crowded, almost as "Grand" and it is not too far out of the way to visit both Bryce and Zion National Parks in Utah.
We stayed in a cabin maybe 50 feet from the canyon edge. It was great!

Hi. Looking forward to meeting you. I put off answering so I could give you my seat number. Now it looks like I will not know that number until I get to Vegas.
I did book a tour for EARLY Wednesday morning. A combination flight to Grand Canyon, Hili flight down to the bottom, short raft trip while down there, back up by heli, then fly back to Vegas. They will pick me up around 5:30 AM local time and I should be back around noon before things get rolling at the Hilton. While 5:30 AM may sound early to the west coast crowd I will still be adjusting from EST so it should seem like 8:30 to me.
Now I know, I'm seat K-34 if anyone wants to say "Hi." Most likely I will crash tonight (Tuesday). Got up at 5AM EST for my flight, 2AM local time. Getting up at 5:30 local time to go flying and rafting. May see some of you tomorrow if I survive the Colorado.
