Yeah I just turn the station whenever celebrity gossip comes on. Listening to people go on and on about how much they hate a celebrity is still the same thing. So listening to some talk show just because they are hating on Paris Hilton or whoever just perpetuates all this.
As for Miley she's a cute kid and I love her voice (not singing just her speaking voice). Of course, I never see her for more than 1-2 minutes at a time max so that might help.
I jerk off to her anyway as it is.
Ok, I really don't. But she's very cute. She's the type a girl I'd be chasing after when I was in high-school.
She's post-pubescent so it shouldn't be "too" creepy to find her attractive.

You do have to give them credit. Whoever her marketing team is they're experts. The girl, according to Forbes, is worth $1 billion USD.

I kind of doubt it. She has a bit better and more stable parenting than old Brit has.
I think power, money, and fame can corrupt anyone, but who knows. Only time will tell.
It takes good, solid, parenting to ensure a child-star "grows up right."
There's plenty of good examples of that. Money and fame *can* corrupt but it's my understanding that Billy Ray keeps Miley pretty restrained and in-check and even though him and her mom are seperated they still work together on raising young Miley. It seems to me they're still trying to be good, strong and supportive parents for her and not using their daughter as someone to bring them in a windfall and fame. (Like Britt and Lindsay's mothers are)
Miley should have a good career infront of her and she grow up just fine without any of the troubles that've befell Britt and Lindsay. I'd say of all the idols out there for young girls Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana is probably one of the better ones (if not the best one) girls can latch on to. At the very least her songs/videos aren't sexualy charged and/or have lyrics with strong double entendre in them and she has an ounce or two of real talent.
I really hope Miley goes the route of Christina Agularia. I don't have any problems with admiting that I like Christina and she doesn't seem to have been corrupted the way Britney has. I try not to care that much about Miley Cyrus (Even though her father isn't a very good country singer was a small reason I stopped watching Nashville Star this season) but I hope she is successful and a good role model to those who adore her.
Nah. Personally I like her, and think Hannah Montana is quite entertaining.
If one really dislikes her, it's not that hard to avoid hearing about her on TV or reading about her in newspapers/magazines and the net.
Or at least it is in the UK. Not sure about the US

I do turn the station when she comes on, but she still manages to pop up. Heck, just today I was watching CNN and they started talking about her latest crappy video. I figured I was safe watching CNN since she isnt newsworthy, but I was wrong.
