Jeri Ryan's "Modern Bride" ad

Just curious -- how did the wedding last four days?

I think it was because friends and family from the States went over, so they extended the celebrations over a number of days. Plus, in France there's both the civil and religious weddings, so that's two days right there.

My husband just ripped this page out of "Architectural Digest" (Vol. 65, No. 7; July 2008) and handed it to me. It's a full-page ad and looks amazing. I couldn't find where this was discussed before by doing a forum search, so does anybody have info on this ad campaign? It's pretty cool, I think.

Its strange some of the other Shark castmembers got work lined up, Jeri hasn't yet (judging from IMDb). I wouldn't mind it if she turned up on Doctor Who, since it's less nerdy and more popular sci-fi at the moment.

Dr. Who?

That would be a rather long commute for a mom of two who owns a business in Los Angeles, doncha think?

I saw a picture of her smiling as broadly as possible, and it's one of the most frightening pictures I've ever seen of anybody. The picture above looks nice, this was different. I can't describe it. Her features were strangely exaggerated and stretched out. Any attractive person can look horrific at the wrong times, I suppose.

looks a bit odd smiling.

I don't think guest starring on a British sci-fi show would be any worse than the wedding and Britain is no further than France. But guest starring on CSI, Heroes or NCIS would be more likely.

WTH is Shark???

A relatively shortlived (but popular) legal drama starring James Woods and co-starring Jeri Ryan, it ran on CBS and was cancelled mainly due to the Writer's Strike or supposedly wrong demographics being used as a pretext.

Or it was cancelled because CBS was tired of dealing with James Woods. I heard he caused them some difficulties.

Yowsa, how do you stay that thin with a 7 month old in you?

Good genes and a healthy diet. It does help that her hubby is a chef, that she's a trained chef herself, and that they live in Southern California and can eat a Mediterranean diet.

She also confessed to doing yoga and pilates during the pregnancy.

^Forgot the chef part.

I would love to be a house guest at their place for a couple days.

A good diet and excercise can certainly make you age slower and like Roxann Dawson, Jeri Ryan does not really look her age, but I saw a clip of her smoking a fag on The OC (but I wouldn't say she was dumb enough to smoke while pregnant).
