I just rewatched the season finale in anticipation. I like that they're doing a time jump. It opens up the possibility for some mystery in the first few episodes as well as move on to new things.

I was confused about that scene with Betsy and the auto mechanic. Following on that scene about her old friend turning into a call girl, I was horrified to think they might be making Betsy do something stupid in that scene. They had the "bargaining" conversation, but then nothing happened.
