Yeah, the forum would just be too crowded with 2 grading threads for this episode, there just isn't enough response lately. I've noticed over the course of last season how the viewership, or at least responses here in the forum, has been waning. There just aren't as many people posting in this forum as there use to be. This thread for example, only 3 people here total lol, remember when it use to be PAGES long, heh. I do not think I'm going to do a running commentary thread in the future. I am just going to make ONE Discussion/Grading Thread to post in, there just aren't enough people here to support both kinds of threads, there isn't a need for this thread anymore.

Probably has to do with the fact that the episode was leaked early, where I am guessing many around these parts watched it. Hopefully, we'll have more discussion next week when things get back to normal.

They are hoping Carter will be back for a least one episode in the second half of the season, they specifically want her for the 100th episode/finale but it is entirely dependent on her schedule for Sanctuary.
Daniel will be in the mid-season two-parter, First Contact/The Lost Tribe.
This forum is pretty quiet, its weird because in actual fact, at least so I'm told by people who actually understand the American rating system, the ratings went up last year and the end of season four (perhaps in part due to the writers strike) did really well. *shrug*

Amanda is he star and executive producer for a show called Sanctuary which aired on the web last year. Scifi picked it up for a TV broadcast (its being completely reshot) so she turned down staying with SGA.
As for Michael, well I'm guessing after having Carson all that time he either blackmailed the Doc in to giving him the ATA gene OR as he had Carson's genetic material created his own ATA therapy.
I think it is actually stolen from Contact.

Why did Mallozzi have all the LT Vega fanfare and she had one line and a shot of her holding her weapon awkwardly while shooting down the Wraith dart.
It's Captain Vega and she'll have a bigger part later on.

I'm pretty sure this was talked about up-thread, but it is presumed that he gave himself the artificial ancient gene that Beckett created way back in season one. This point is addressed in the next episode.
