Best entrance

I was watching the opening of TFF the other, and thought to myself, "fuck me if Sybok doesn't have the coolest entrance I've ever seen."

Other memorable entrances for me, in order, are Kirk in TWOK, Spock in TMP and Kirk in TMP.

Those are some good choices you picked. Adding to the list, Spock's second entrance in TMP. "Why, it's Mr. Spock!"

On the TV side, I liked Worf's arrival on DS9 in The Way of the Warrior.

I definitely agree with you on Kirk's entrance in TWOK. I've also always loved Scotty's entrance (or materialization) to the classic yellow sparklies and sound effects in "Relics."

I always liked Picard's entrance in Farpoint, during that opening log entry.

Khan had a very dramatic entry in TWOK.
Sulu in TUC, cooly sipping his tea.
Sarek in TSFS.
As mentioned before, Kirk in TMP. That was the first one that actually came to mind.

(actually I'd love to see Shatner's cut of the opening, which I guess runs two or three times longer in the reveal of Sybok.) I think the whole TFF teaser open is great, especially the side view of that Jonn guy practically wilting in front of Sybok.

Best intro in trek ... well, if it ain't Abe Lincoln or The Hand of Apollo (sounds very GALACTICA, don't it?), then probably Kirk in TWOK and the Enterprise in TMP. Then the -a in TVH (which might be the only thing I've always liked about that movie.)
