I just had foot surgery last week and I have to stay home and keep it elevated. So I have been watching A LOT of TV. My brother has a lot of DVDs so I asked him if I could borrow some and what he would recommend. He said to me " I've been telling you for years you need to watch the original Star Trek, it's better than you think." So I finally gave in and borrowed seasons 2 and 3 (he still doesn't have season 1). I just watched disk 1 of season 2 and I gotta say I love it!!!! I've seen episodes as a kid and from time to time since then all in re-runs and all edited to add more commercials. This is the first time I've seen them uncut and in order. I can believe I've waited this long to get into it.
My first exposure to Trek on a big scale was TNG and the other spin offs. I guess I thought I wouldn't like it or it was to dated. But I was way wrong. I think I'll go call my brother and thank him.
