USS Titan 3D pic????

After seeing the physical model, I still think the design is lacking and could've been better.

I say this with all due respect, Sean. I just don't like the downward swept nacelles, nor the sensor pod, nor the overall Sovereign/Akira resemblance.

But I'm not a fan of those two ships, so it's your fault as much as it is the "designers" of those two classes.

Nevertheless, congrats to you for getting that model made and featured in the Trek tour. What a dream come true that must be!

^^^Dammit, yes, I meant "not your fault."

Thanks for pointing that out.

And apologies, Sean, for the misunderstanding.

I've seen the pic, and i love the ship, it's like a New Nebula, a supplement to the Sovereign. Just as the Nebula was designed to have several similarities to the Galaxy, but developed in greater numbers, the Titan (Luna?) could be the same.

Man, been ages I have been in this thread lol

I just saw the new pics in the last few pages of this thread...awesome pics.

It would be nice to know what the bridge look like and how many decks there is (I'm guessing 23 to 25)

Ellery has been working on some new shots of the Titan for the Official Star Trek Magazine, and has post a few new shots of her while we wait for the next issue to come out.

He is still working on the color but here they are.

^ It's not a warship though - it's an explorer.

That being said can the pod be swapped for different pod designs (the Nebula can have it's pods changed at a starbase in the novel series). I think that was just their way of explaining why the Phoenix had one design while the Sutherland another.

Back to the original topic: great pics! The first is now my background (and I don't normally do Trek Backgrounds).

Here is the latest set of renders that Ellery sent me on the girl.

The only thing really wrong with the Top view is the decals for the secondary hull got corrupted and did not render. That is why the landing strip is missing.

Is the sensor pod manned? If so, how is it accessed? Is there room for turbolifts in the side mounts?
Normally it is automated, but in the last book they had it crewed for a prolonged mapping session. I believe they beam in from the main hull.

but normally it is un manned.
