Los Angeles through the rumors channels let it be know that they wanted him, even though in no way possible could it work with the system that league has with salary caps unless they change the rules specifically for him (as they did with Becks). I think they float rumors like this to say "see, we're a big club just like in Europe!" which is funny for so many reasons.

So it's really just a lack of comittment and focus. I think he could be a steal if he gets his shit together, considering Barca automatically lowered his transfer fee by stupidly stating he didn't figure in to their plans. Then again, this could just be a motivational tool by them in hopes that he wakes up and starts playing like he can.

    No doubt.

During last season, word got out that there was some disagreements between him and the coach.

Samir Nasri is saying on his website that he has signed for Arsenal in a £15.8m deal.

Some B/S from FIFA today about ENGLAND's 2018 bid for the World Cup...

If true how did USA, Japan, S.Korea and South Africa all win bids because there not exactly football super powers especially back when they won there bids. Some countries have had the WC twice in half the time since we last held the dam thing, I think we have waited long enough but I won't be surprised if FIFA gave it to someone else because FIFA = Anti English these days.

Hilarious! Only FIFA could come up with that shit...

And by the way, will the next World Cup be in South Africa? Last time I looked, the gears weren't running that smoothly over there...

It really seems FIFA aren't even bothering to hide their anti-English bias these days.

I wonder if David Tennant will lend me the Tardis so I can go back in time and strongly encourage the founders of the Football Association to copyright the laws of the game.

Lilian Thuram the last member of France's golden generation will likely hang up his boots in club football as he is diagnosed with the same heart condition which killed his brother on the basketball court a few years back.

I hope he won't suffer the same fate as his brother. Always respected the guy.

    Chelsea news....

Lampard is currently in Milan securing his move, which should be done very soon. Overall I feel Chelsea will struggle in the PL wihtout Lampard and Deco may struggle to adpat due to his age.

    ^Goal.com are not reliable.

Jose Mourinho has played down suggestions that a deal has been agreed.

It appears, however, that one deal is done. Arsenal will sign Werder Bremen midfielder Amaury Bischoff on a Bosman.

The guy did look good when I saw him playing against Arsenal in the Champions League, though I'd be stunned if nobody goes in for his CSKA teammate Daniel Carvalho.
