Harriet Jones: "Harriet Jones, former Prime Minister".
Dalek, about to exterminate her: "Yes... we know who you are". :guffaw:

That was frakkin' fantastic. Yep, sure there was some fanwank and of course the RTD obligatory finale scene with thousands of daleks in the sky, but who cares it's so cool! I almost cried at the Doctor/Rose reunion, even though I knew what was coming. And the regeneration... well I'm not sure what's happening there but unless the BBC have been viciously careful, we're going to see DT next week.

Also, prediction: In the first minute of next week, Mickey Smith will save Sarah Jane. It just makes sense, and gets him at least into the action quickly.

Oh, and the Doctorwhoforum.com appears to have melted. There server probably couldn't cope!

Took this from another forum, i havent thought of that yet but i do wonder why that lady said you have something on your back.
But i thought the lady said there was something on your back?
Great episode!

(This whole situation is still a paralellel universe created around Donna Noble as evidence by that worker at the Shadow Proclomation saying 'there is something on your back' meaning that Donna still has one of those Tricksters Brigade beetles attached to her.

In this alternate reality that was made around Donna, the Doctor regenerates. I wonder who the alternative Doctor will be played by next week?)

When Davros first appeared did anyone else catch some of the music that was used in Genesis of the Daleks?

I know of one actor who would love to play The Doctor, but today he confessed he was too old and didn't have enough hair....David Hewlett.:)
Like David Tennant, David Hewlett has said he first decided he wanted to be an actor from the moment he realized he couldn't grow up to be the Doctor, so he wanted to be an actor so he could play the Doctor.

Question. If Davros was bought back from the Time War by Dalek Caan shifting away in Dalek's of Manhatten, how could the planets be dissappearing in the alternate timeline (last episode) where the Doctor died before going back to Manhatten and stopping the Daleks there?

Well as the world isn't overrun by Daleks I'd say they were somehow stopped. As Sec wouldn't be cooperating with the Doctor he other Daleks would have probably tolerated him for a bit longer, which could have led to a Dalek civil war between the Human-Daleks and the pure-Daleks, which would have resulted once again in Caan being the last Dalek.

^^ Why did you ask a second time when you've been answered already?

He's only asked once I believe, it looks like diankra is part Time Lord. :)

Not quite sure what you're referring to, but sorry if I've double-posted, and otherwise the posts are coming so fast tonight that half a dozen of them can appear while you tap out a reply!

Wasn't their a rumour that Tom Baker would return for the Season Finalle this year? Maybe as the 11th Doctor?

He would be a one heck of a grummpy doctor in the same vein as Hartnell.

Now that would be great if that happened, the thought crossed my mind as well if he regenerated backwards.
What you are suggesting would tie in nicely with Sarah Jane....

I don't care what anyone else says, I loved every minute.

Yes, I'm a shallow fanboy, and I couldn't be happier.

WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW

I was STUNNED.

Did NOT see that ending coming!

What happens NEXT?

Don't tell me - I'll wait. Very very impatiently.

Uncle Tobias, on the stars disappearing. Let's just assume time is wibbly wobbly. The timeline diverged when Donna was taken by the Trickster creature, but on both timelines, the Earth was taken by the Daleks to their new Empire. Simple.

More thoughts when I calm down.

Worth the wait, Mitty?

ETA, when I went to Google Mr Copper Foundation, this thread came up number 2.

I only asked once, but for some reason it appears at the end of the page, and Wamdue's (and yours now that I look) reply is above my original question (as is my susbequent reply to him), at least that's how it appears on my screen.

I thought it was a simple case of double post, but I only see it once, just out of order. I have no idea why but it's kind of ironic considering the nature of the subject we're discussing.

If you go to wamdue's reply with this link http://www.trekbbs.com/showpost.php?p=1785994&postcount=132 then click the button in his post where he quotes me, it takes you down to the bottom of the page. Maybe because I clicked 'post reply' instead of 'quick reply'?

Fantastic episode. I especially liked Sarah Jane's comment to Mr Smith "I wish you'd stop giving me that fanfare, and just tell me what's going on."

I was so glad they tagged the dramatic opening of the wall and fanfare when Sarah Jane activates Mr Smith... it was the one thing (kid's show side aside) that always annoyed me about the Sarah Jane Adventures.

That and the crowded opening credits. I had myself a fan-boy-gasim. :p

I'm gonna try and avoid hearing about things for next week. It's beyond fantastic ... more like supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.

What an ending. I'll watch it again later today.

I could have sworn she said "you HAD something on your back".
I'll have to rewatch the episode to be sure though.

Edit: I just rewatched that scene. The woman says "There was something on your back"

Well, that sort of explains things then, doesn't it. The Tenth Doctor regenerates into the Eleventh Doctor. The Tenth Doctor's hand regenerates into the Tenth Doctor. Since "Hand of The Doctor" is tied into the Tardis every bit as much as the Doctor himself, the Doctor that grows from the loosed hand remembers everything that's happened over the past three seasons. And, indeed, the Doctor's entire life. Even though technically he's just a hand. Both face off against Davros. OMGWTFBBQ?! ensues.
