Made my rounds just now. I think I got everyone on the list.

Used my script but remmed out the stops(message boxes). Visited 46 cities in a matter of seconds and all but crashed my browser.

Guess next time I want to visit without leaving messages I'll have to do smaller lists.

Hey Gertch, where do I put my city list in your script, or how do I get it to link to my city list? I did the copy/paste bit on what you posted, and when I run it, it just tells me it is all done, without having visited a city.

I might have a look at it also, but use a different browser to firefox, maybe Opera or IE. I'll try and look at some cities tonight.

Put your list in the same folder as the .vbs file.

I did some searching for myminicity tips and there are other clicking groups and even forums. There's one at http://createmycity.xooit.com/index.php but you have to join to see anything. I might later.

I kept on getting a run-time error for that script ... but am registering on that site to help my city. I'll see what else is there.

EDIT - I've also found some things on facebook for further growth.

What's the error?

Basic questions:
Did you name the file what the script is looking for?
You may have to hit Enter after each line in the file.
The url should have a "/" at the end.

Post anything of interest you find!

Windows Script Error.

Says - activeX component can't create Object: 'WinHttp.WinHttpRequest.5.1'

I wonder if it's related to your version of Windows. (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa384276(VS.85).aspx)

If you get the error message, "ActiveX component can't create object", on this line, most likely the WinHttp.dll was not properly registered or is not present on the system.

Just found out - click on your city and then use the 1 key to zoom out and ' to zoom back in.
