played the demo of The Bourne Conspiracy and its crap, the driving is awful they even managed to shoe horn QTE into that level
Apparently they're now doing a remake of Sid Meier's Colonization, in the form of Sid Meier's Civilization 4: Colonization.

Personally, I think they forgot what made the games worth playing, and they sucked out most of what made the previous games fun.Anyone played Burnout: Paradise? had a quick go at the Game On expo, but was interested in what people thought of the whole game in general.

I got it a couple of weeks ago and played it for quite a bit. I gotta say I enjoyed it. Now I've never played any of the previous Burnout games so I can't really compare but it's much more fun then the latest instalments of Need For Speed.Anyone played Burnout: Paradise? had a quick go at the Game On expo, but was interested in what people thought of the whole game in general.
To me, the point in Burnout games have always been about smashing shit up, and driving round like a nutter, but now the collision detection is too sensitive, and you crashing happens far too often for you to just have fun smashing shit up. Plus I'm not really a big fan of the sandbox aspect, what's the point in a race where you can get lost, or sidetracked by getting knocked down a side street? You're playing it wrong!![]()
I think it's maybe a bit too much of a big step between games. If it had gradually become a sandbox, or the races were fixed, but with the open city between events, then it may have been more fun.Trust me... the dev heard that when the demo came out. Kind of points out why the game didn't sell too well, despite some of its better features.
