Favorite Muppets

With the recent release of The Muppet Show season 3, I've been rewatching the show in its entirety and loving every bit of it. I've been thinking a lot about my favorite characters and how some of the most popular character are my least favorite characters (Fozzie, Miss Piggy, Beauregard).

For the purposes of this poll (remember vote for only FIVE), I've only included Muppets who were featured on The Muppet Show only, so that means no Bean Bunny, Pepe, and Clifford, among others. And forgive me if I left anyone of importance out, which is why I've included the Other option.

Okay, the poll is up (I really HATE how vBulletin has you write the poll after the thread is posted).

My favorites are Gonzo, Sam, Statler and Waldorf, Sweetums, and Beaker.

With the exception of Kermit I always liked the unique Muppet take on "weird", so my other 4 were Rizzo, Gonzo, Beaker and the funniest part of the show-Statler and Waldorf.

OK, I'll go with Kermit, Rowlf, Animal, Statler & Waldorf, and the Swedish Chef. But I'd also add Sweetums, if I could. I adore him!

but i believe that the Count still counts as a muppoet. And maybe he cameo'ed there, and I would say that counts, too?

I went with Beaker, Bunsen, Floyd, The Swedish Chef, & Zoot.. I named 3 of my computers after them... Bunsen & Beaker are my 2 desktops that share a KVM switch (Beaker being the windows machine that blows up occasionally and Bunsen being my first experiment into the world of Linux) and Floyd is my laptop and goes "on tour" with me if I travel!

Definitely my favourites. I watched the Muppets almost solely for them.

Oh, he counts as a Muppet, but I deliberately narrowed the focus to those who starred on The Muppet Show.

Incidentally, he did guest starred in an episode of The Muppet Show, but like I said before, I just wanted to focus on the main players of the show.

Holdfast, you're welcome to start that one. I haven't watched the show in years, so they're not fresh on my mind.

I voted for Gonzo, Rizzo, Kermit, Fozzie, and Sam. If I could have voted for more, Beaker and the hecklers would make my list as well.

I clicked "other" before I realized Pepe wasn't allowed due to being a more recent addition. I loves that little king prawn.

But Fozzie is my flat-out favourite. Since I was a toddler, I have always wanted a hug from Fozzie.

Miss Piggy is the greatest, but it is a close call between her and Kermit. They are both very good
