Some dude put this on youtube a couple of days ago:

I can't believe it. I think there was some Guinness record thing for the song a while ago and that guy got like 93%? This is just amazing... I don't even know how you would physically do this.
What's hilarious is at the end of the video when the guy's all shaking and in shock that he actually managed 100%.

The 93% percent guy that you mentioned...it was like a young teen his fingers just flew on the guitar and my friends and I were watching in amazement, but this is just insane.

Wow, that guy either is really committed or should be committed.

I kid, but that was absolutely crazy.

Ok, how did he tap the notes without strumming? or activate star power without missing a beat? I find I miss most perfects by trying to get star power.

Yeah, large sections of that song are hammer-ons and pull-offs, which lets him do that two handed fret thingie that makes those sections easier.
I tried that with the solos in Rock Band and my brain can't work that way. Figures.

I remember the video **posted** the very next day after GH3's release of a dude who unlocked the Inhuman Mode with Through the Fire and Flames/xpert.
I read somewhere that the lead guitarist of DragonForce (Herman Li) scored a 2% at that song!

Guitar Hero stops being fun so long before that point. I suppose I respect his achievement in some sort of weird way. :p

He didn't reach the 1 Million point mark! :D

OK, seriously, that's impressive. I never plan to play enough to get that good at it, though.

I can't even five-star that fricking song on Medium. :scream:

Same, I suck at most of the songs on just hard mode.

As to the lead guitarist only gettin 2%, I find that most people who actually play guitar, seriously, suck at the game. I've been playing for 14 years and after all the years of playing the guitar games, I still try to reach for the actual notes.
