I'm surprised at how little support Rand is getting. She's not my favorite but she's certainly attractive enough to get some attention.

Grace Lee was a pretty good actress hampered by an impossible hairdo...what was GR thinking?

OK, I know what he was thinking....

According to Memory Alpha that's Yeoman Zahra. She was played by an actress called Maurishka Taliaferro. To be honest, I never even noticed her. But she looks cute. :bolian:

I love spunky girls in ponytails, so I'd definately pick Colt. ;)

How come nobody mentioned Yeoman Mears, one of "The Galileo Seven?" She was the typical TOS Starfleet woman; competent, intellegent, strong, and never screamed in fear like most women of the 60's were required to do. And she was really pretty, too. ;)

She was played by Phyllis Douglas, and like many TOS guest stars, pulled double-duty when it came to being a "supporting character." She appeared in "The Way to Eden" as the brunette hippie, sporting an adorable ponytail (yeah, I have a thing for those XD ) and showing off her awesome legs!!

I can't argue with you there; Zahra was very pretty!! Dark hair, dark eyes, dark skin...perfection! :techman:

Gotta love her comment from "Operation: Annihilate!" too, about the neural parasites:
"They don't even look real!"

You're absolutely right -- Mears is among my top 3 Star Trek girls of all time. However, I mistakenly remembered her as being an Ensign, not a Yeoman.

    Thanks for setting me straight.

By the way, here's a bit of trivia on the actress Phyllis Douglas: as a 3-year old, she was in Gone with the Wind as Scarlett O'hara's and Rhett Butler's toddler daughter, "Bonnie Blue Butler".

Great, another Mears/Phyllis fan! :techman: Who's the other two "Top Trek Girls of All Time" for you? Mine would have to be Marianna Hill as Helen Noel, and Sherry Jackson as whatever role she's in, I don't care what, she always looks smoking hot.

I didn't know that about Ms. Douglas being in "Gone with the Wind!" That's very interesting. :)

Re: Ronald Held's post, originally this post only had two options - Colt or Rand. It kind of branched out from there as more guys started mentioning other women from TOS that they liked.

Do we need to consider only the original two or all of those proposed?
