She was well named. I hear Tango was jealous. What is so horsey about a ponytailed yeoman named Colt? *grin*I usually go for the red head too, but there is just something so horsey about Colt, that I gotta go with Smith.
Who is it? Grace Lee Whitney as Janice Rand or Laurel Goodwin as J.M. Colt?
According to Memory Alpha that's Yeoman Zahra. She was played by an actress called Maurishka Taliaferro. To be honest, I never even noticed her. But she looks cute.I vote for the Yeoman in Operation: Annhilate!. Strange...startrek.com doesn't even mention her at all, but I found this shot at Trekcore:

I love spunky girls in ponytails, so I'd definately pick Colt.
How come nobody mentioned Yeoman Mears, one of "The Galileo Seven?" She was the typical TOS Starfleet woman; competent, intellegent, strong, and never screamed in fear like most women of the 60's were required to do. And she was really pretty, too.

You're absolutely right -- Mears is among my top 3 Star Trek girls of all time. However, I mistakenly remembered her as being an Ensign, not a Yeoman.
Thanks for setting me straight.
By the way, here's a bit of trivia on the actress Phyllis Douglas: as a 3-year old, she was in Gone with the Wind as Scarlett O'hara's and Rhett Butler's toddler daughter, "Bonnie Blue Butler".
