Maybe the Last of the Timelords (TM) settles down in the future. Could be Mrs Who or his daughter from the future.

With Davies and Moffat, who the hell knows.

Funny, I was thinking she might be Jenny, although I know that would piss off those who wanted to Gerogina again.

Great episode, hardly felt like 45 minute at all, the only thing that felt a little forced was the cliffhanger, and the ghosting of the girl who died was so much like Kylies last moments I dont know why the Doctor didnt mention it.

Well, in one possible future. But "always in motion is the future" - so if he gets himself killed before he meets her, all bets are off.

She handles all that tech so well I thought she was going to be Rani or however you spell that women's name but probably not.

Anyone else get a Donna dying at the end of the season vibe?

I am curious now as to what would happen if the weeping angels were in a room with the shadow piranhas.

And she'd have recognized Donna, which was in fact a fairly large dropping of hints that Donna - for some (ominous) reason - isn't still with the Doc when River "first" meets him.

At the risk of raising expectations too high - could a Moffatt run Who possibly have the potential to be the best TV show ever made?

Guess we will find out in two years, have to make a note to start driving safely...

I thought the same thing at first. But I figured it'd be a bit much to include a future companion, and have it be Jenny in one story.

You know, this is a great episode for kids.

If I were 9 years old I would be scared shitless.

Well, she did say he was a lot younger than she'd ever seen him, which for a Timelord could be hundreds of years.

According to folks who saw some location filming for the finale...

She seems to get returned home and mind-wiped, as a scene was filmed with the Doctor telling Wilf that he must never tell her about her experiences.

She also mentioned that he had been in and out of her life, so they must keep running into each other in different time periods, say over the course of 4 specials?

no has mentioned the matrix style reference (how this (her) world is a lie)

I bet the little girl is the library's main computer

Out-bloody-standing.

All hail Moffat, the king of Who!

Hilarious, terrifying, thought-provoking, heartbreaking, wonderful Who!

Oh, anyone else spot the tiny oblique reference to Rose?

It can be next week time nao?

Fantastic! Very chilling in parts; the skeleton in the suit chasing after them was great and the flesh head doodads we're freaky as hell. I suppose this episode could make the people scared of their own shadows feel justified.
