However, we seem to be wandering somewhat far afield of our discussion of the topic of whether the Enterprise will have an Auxiliary Control Room (as previously seen in "The Way to Eden", to name one example.) Starship Polaris has reason to believe that we will not see that room, apparently.

I agree with Sharr...If there is no reason to mention it or see it in this film, we won't know if one exists (it's something like Schrödinger's cat, or the proverbial tree falling in the woods).

Once it gets mentioned in a film, or if someone involved with the film says it exists, that's when it will exist.
