If a CGI TOS were made, what character would you have in it?

M'Ress...

...and to, well, illustrate, here's one interpretation.

Hmm, looks like my last post may have killed this thread. So here's a hopefully better example of how M'Ress might appear in CGI. (At least the colors are more robust.)

Discourage the people from posting. What a jerk.

Surely you're not aiming your resentment at the moderators! They are doing their jobs for which I'm grateful. This ijkl325 has been spamming threads left and right with links to annoying commercial sites which have no bearing upon the intended subject. ijkl325 may not even be a human, but rather an automated spam-bot, so I'm glad his/her/its links were removed.

Sincerely,

Bill

Thanks Redfern. If this was one of the posts I was trying to clean up yesterday morning then I might not have left a good explanation of why the post was edited. There were quite a few of them and I was more concerned with the clean up than the explanation.

Come on! Throw me a frickin' bone here.

Has anyone seen a CGI Arex anywhere? I've checked over at Ptrope's Star Trek: ReAnimated site but it doesn't look like they've gotten that far yet.

Sorry, no "slight" intended. I can squeak by contructing mechanisms in 3D, but I'm no organic modeler. An Arex character would almost have to be modeled from scratch. I can't imagine an existing humanoid figure "pliable" enough to be molded into the Edoan's distinctive features.

Sincerely,

Bill

Well, it's definitely worth a try. I'd like to see your take on it, Bill. :bolian:

I figured that's among the reasons one hasn't shown up yet. That and the fact there are a number of reasons why M'Ress is a more attractive option for many modelers.
