Trek is all over this..

I have been rewatching my DVDs of this old western I watched in the late 70s called The Macahans, HOW THE WEST WAS WON. I didn't notice before how many TREK stars pop up on this show...here is who I have seen after only 15 episodes...

William Shatner
Ricardo Montebalm
Folonna Flannagan (Datas mom/Curzon ex lover on DS9)
Anthony Zerbe
Harris Yulin (cardassian in DUET)
Richard Kiley (DS9 episode)
Brian Keith (DS9 episode)
Morgan Woodward (captain stacey from omega glory)
Mark Lenard
Ed Lauter (TNG episode with wesley at the academy)
Kim Catrell
Bruce Boxlietner (not TREK, but BAB-5/HEROS vet)
Lloyd Bridges (not Trek, but the one and only TRUE commander cain!!!)

Not bad...its like of like watching a STAR TREK reunion show...Hawaii Five-0 had many TREK vets too..Can you think of other shows where many trek vets have appeared, BOSTON LEGAL would clearly count..I think in one episode alone we had Kirk, Odo, Nelix Voyager Doc.

Law and Order has had most of the living members of the various seasons appear at one time or another. At least, it seems that way.

The Machahans! Great series. :techman:

I live in a country where this series was a great success back in the 80:sand it had been on re-run umpteen times since then, most recently two years ago.

The one who made most impression on me was Harris Yulin as Mr.Peasley. One of the best villains I've seen.

I actually watched this series on one of the many re-runs some year before watching the first season of DS9 and when I watched "Duet" and saw Yulin as Marritza I thought, "Oh, it's Mr Peasley"!

"American History X" is a great movies with Avery Brooks and Jennifer Lien in two important roles. It's also one of these movies I've watched more than once.

You can see a good number of people who have been in Trek if you watch Total Recall eg. Ronny Cox, Robert Picardo (voice only), Lycia Naff, Marc Alaimo, Roy Brocksmith etc.

Futurama and the Simpsons had frequent Trek cameos (including the TOS reunion Futurama episode, sans Doohan and Kelly). Gargoyles also had a bunch of TNG regular cast in it.
