As suggested, this week's hunk is James Marsden (no, not the guy who played Spike). This 35 year-old father of two is a native of Oklahoma and was once a model for Versace. His first big break in film came when he was cast in the teen-horror flick, Disturbing Behavior. He is best known, of course, for playing Cyclops in the three X-Men films and for co-starring in Superman Returns. His latest roles, however, have been in romantic comedies and musicals. An accomplished singer, he was able to showcase his voice in Hairspray (07) and Enchanted. He will also star in the upcoming horror-suspense film, The Box, which is based on the Richard Matheson short story, "Button, Button," (which you may remember from the 1986 "The Twilight Zone".)

So, here he is:

I gave him a sideways. I guess he's good looking but he doesn't get my blood pumping or anything.

He's handsome and attractive but in an anodyne, groomed Hollywood fashion. So he's a thumbs sideways for me. Easy on the eye but doesn't really engage the brain.

Meh. Very, very meh. It doesn't help that he played one of the few X-Men I cannot stand, and did so in an exceedingly boring manner (even given the poor material he was lumbered with).

Marsden was in a Glenn Close movie (well, I thought it was a Glenn Close movie) called Heights. A good performance. But there were a set of discreet nudie shots of Marsden's character that played a key role in the plot. Is it possible the computer whizzes could find them?

Heh. I did think it was going to be Spike. :rommie:

Sideways for this guy. He made Cyclops, the core of the X-Men, boring; not good.

^knock yourself out. You can add any pic that you can find. Just remember to link (instead of post) any pics that aren't "work friendly."

In my Google-scouring, I did not find any nudie-patootie pics of Marsden. But my Google-Fu is not that strong. :vulcan:

My Google-Fu is so puny I couldn't make an avatar even if I wanted to.

About Marsden as Cyclops---First, the face partly covered is real tough on the actor. Second, the second movie screws up in thinking that the "dangerous" one is Wolverine. The one who can accidentally blow your head off is the dangerous one. Wolverine was just the bad one, which reduced Jean Grey to another horny overgrown fourteen year old girl. The scene in X3 where Jean turns him into Wolverine then disintegrates him (why?) was even dumber. If Phoenix had gotten too orgasmic during sex to suppress the optic blast then "defended" herself, that dialogue about Dark Phoenix's passions might actually have had some weight. The stupidity of it all becomes apparent when you realize that by the end of the movie, Hugh Jackman has become Cyclops' straight arrow character!

Thumbs up. Hated him as Cyclops but after seeing him in other stuff, I realize it was the writers' and directors' fault, not his.

Meh. That GQ pic almost bumps him down into the thumbs down category. Good lord. :wtf:

The dangers of being artsy. Also GQ does not cater to the female audience. ;)

I agree, it makes him look like a Disney villain or some damn thing.

Woh Baby, yummo. So, so hot. Oh and he can sing, in Hairspray he was fantastic. And a hunk to boot. you "Meh" people need a ECG to check you have a pulse.
