What's Up With Warpath?

I haven't been around much these days, but I was wondering what is the status of Warpath? Is it EVER going to come out? I think that was the title of the next DS9 Relaunch book, IIRC. I may be getting it mixed up with the last one...but it's been so long since it came out I can't remember what it was called exactly.

In regards to TNG: A Time To books, are they worth reading? I'm thinking about starting the series before I pick up the TNG Relaunch books, but how relevent are any of them to what comes after Nemesis starting with Death in Winter?

I'd say they're more relevant to Titan and Articles of the Federation than they are to the post-NEM TNG novels. There's no need to read them first, unless you just like chronological order.

I'd recommend reading A Time To Kill and A Time To Heal, even if you're going to skip the rest of the series. A Time To Heal was easily the second or third best book of any kind published in 2004.

Yes, they're definetly worth reading. The series starts a bit slow and awkward (Anybody thinks, Before Dishonor features uncharacteristic behaviour, than think about Picard in the first two volmes of A Time to....) but it's getting better and better with each volume, the last three (Kill/Heal, War and Peace) are among the best Trek-books ever.
It's certainly not necessary to read them before you start with the Post-Nemesis-book, but you would certainly miss some very enjoyable books.

By "they," do you mean the different book series? In general, each series tells its own stories and isn't dependent on the others, but they are in a common continuity and there are occasional minor references. The Gateways crossover depicted a single large-scale event that affected all the series, but for the most part, each book depicted a separate, independent set of events within the wider crisis. And the upcoming Destiny trilogy will be a more fully integrated crossover with several different crews interacting directly and dealing with a single massive situation. But otherwise, the different series stand on their own.

Admiral Janeway appears in each of the final five A Time to... books -- Love, Hate, Kill, Heal, and War/Peace -- in her role as an admiral in Starfleet.

And while each duology in the series tells a separate story, they're all linked, and they all build to a climax in the final volume.

I think of the A Time To... series as a snowball rolling down a hill getting bigger and picking steam with each new arc.
